The forum seems kind of slow. Maybe we can have a weekly chat session, better sections of the forum, blog, or some kind of group activity? Just putting ideas out there.

Things always get slow towards the end of summer and around holiday weekends. The rate of posting and active new members seems to have increased, so I'm not concerned.
If you want, I can create new folders or sections. Any suggestions?
Several members have blogs that they have linked to. If you have a blog you'd like to share, please post the URL here.
As for a group activity, talk of a Vegas trip seems to have fizzled out, but at least a few people were seriously interested.
There also seems to be a chat function, but it's not that straightforward, as far as I can tell, you have to link to a new site and create a new account and password to use it. If people are really eager for live chat, we can try it, but with everyone in different time zones, it might be tricky. Maybe E could look at the chat function and lend his expertise?

Hmmm, we could inject a little controversy to liven things up. ;D

lol besides the chance to live happily ever after? lol happily ever don't exist, I'm younger than majority of the ppl on this forum but I think I might have the most scars with in the wheeler group. Been cheated on and treated like a tissue and on top of that being different physically. Theres still alot for me to learn but I want to help devs with questions or make some friends. I noticed ppl with pics gets reply and attentions but I don't feel comfortable posting my pic yet. Well I was just suggesting maybe a blog section might be cool so devs know what we go through.

Sorry, this program does not have a blog function, so I can't set that up for you. If you want to create a blog on another site and link to it here, you are welcome to do so. A few members have done that already.
However, if you want, I can create a new folder titled "blog" and any members who want to do so can start a thread to blog about themselves. What do you all think? Yes or no?

Sounds like an interesting idea; I'm not sure I'd utilise it frequently or at all, but I'm certainly not against it.

I like the idea, although I wouldn't use it, because I have my own blog. But I'd *love* to read blogs by wheelers and devs, if anyone would actually use it.
I think that if there was interest, a "Blog" area would be better than starting a thread in the general area, because those threads get lost and buried as new threads some along. If there was a blog area, it'd be easy to find your favorite authors' blogs.

I also wanted to say that people serious about blogging probably have an actual blog somewhere already...

I also wanted to say that people serious about blogging probably have an actual blog somewhere already... True, but it might be about other stuff. I'd say rename the "Stories" forum to "Writings" or something along those lines and whoever wants to write a blog can do so there. Taking a look of what's actually there it doesn't seem like they don't fit. It solves the problem of "disappearing" posts, there just isn't that much traffic in that section. If it turns out that everybody ends up with a blog, maybe another section could be created, but right now it might be a bit of an overkill.

i think a special blog section would be great, especially if people used it.
i don't expect i'd be writing one myself, but i'd certainly love to read other peoples', especially if the writings were relevant to the things we discuss on this forum.
