I totally love all these cars, but ladies I think we are setting our sites way too low. For Princess transport, I'm thinking a James Bond type of vehicle - something that's not confined to the road, but can convert to soar to the skies or sail through the blue azure waters of the Pacific . With the multi-talented BOW members we have, I'm sure that piloting such a vehicle would pose no obstacle at all . Princess DD, I suggest we meet soon to discuss the above and also the venue for the next WOW worldwide congress. Having just come back from a visit to a place which is about equidistant from Australia and the US west coast, where a lot of Europeans also travel, where the locals speak with a french accent and which is surrounded by the said blue azure waters of the Pacific, I am truly inspired ;D.

You are right, boys... the black Corvette is from 1968. When I told 1987, I was talking about the year the network, here in Argentina, aired the tv show named "Stingray" with Nick Mancusso. And I DO like the old Vette, they are soooo beautifull!!!... the new concept... is nice but I prefere the '68 Stingray.
DOE!!.... LOL!!, Diva, you're razing the site!!

Yah, I love the old muscle cars....that black Vette looks older to me, but i'm no expert, just a lover of those cars. There's a hot Chevelle around here that takes me back when I see it, and I always dreamt of having a '68 Z-28 or Vette. 'm not into the newer vette either, Triassic....i i had that money, i'd buy an old one. Tony, That black 'vette looks like a '75 with a rear bumper cover from a '79 added to it. '75 was the last year of the Stingray. I owned a bunch (maybe 7?) of Camaro's & Firebirds back in the day, when they were affordable. My best was a '69 Z/28. I had a Chevelle, GTO & Nova SS, too. I'd take a new 'vette over the old ones if performance & comfort were the deciding factors. 10x's better car in that regard. Looks? The earlier, hands down.

phil, you're killin me!! You had all the best muscle cars, sheeeesh. I would've loved to drive them, but especially that hot '68 Z28...that mutha is pure testosterone!! I had a '68 AMX, and it felt so cool to drive 4-speed, grabbin wheels and accelerating so fast. Man, I really miss that...

Man, I really miss that... Mine was a '69 Z/28 Tony, not '68. I bought it at a Camaro restoration shop. It was a former drag car that was converted back to street legal by the shop. The original engine was long gone, so they put a 427 big block in it before I bought it. It had a ton of dash rattles from the race pounding it took and the wire harnesses were pretty butchered, but I just loved it anyway because it was insanely fast. When I think of what I sold it for back in the '80's, and what they sell for today - I get sick to my stomach. ;D I miss those days, too. But, I'd probably be dead by now if I wasn't a crip, lol, so it's all good. Today's muscle cars are faster, safer, brake better and corner better. But the old ones had that mystique. And you didn't need a PhD in engineering along with a Bill Gates type bank account to tune one up. ;D I came very close to buying a dark green '69 AMX. I took it on a test drive and the sucker ran out of gas about a mile from the dealer. I was SO pi$$ed off because I had to walk back to the lot that I left & never went back, lmao.

Ahhhh, I was driving a Chevy Vega...haven't heard about that car in while, have you? lol That car was one of the worst cars Chevy ever made., but it wasn't the car's fault. I was drunk as hell with no seatbelt on. Ironically, MADD was formed the year I got hurt. I'm like Phil I sold my sweetass AMX for chump change - makes me sick, too!!
How'd you get hurt, Phil?

Car wreck, although amazingly it wasn't due to speed or being stupid on my part. ;D Just driving to work one morning in the (boring) company car and got hit by someone not paying attention. The wrong place, at the wrong time. *shrug* It happens.

Yeah, I had a 1981 DMC-12 DeLorean...I dumped a bunch of money on that thing, only for it get obliterated in pieces...
I had a modified engine in it, so it ran nice, not like the low-powered original run of DeLoreans.
