The Paradevo Agenda as of the 25th of September 2009: - Establish the content of board guidelines - done, or almost done.
- Persuade Mr. Windrider and Mr. Eric to return.
- Smoke the peace pipe and return to normal.
Any ideas as to issue no. two? I have started this new thread because the guidelines thread is too important to hijack. DD, desperate times call ......for flash measures, so I propose that the princesses of Denralia host a party and here is the invite: To all Paradevo Members The Royal Princesses of Denralia invite you to a kiss and make up party Place: The gardens of the royal palace of Denralia, located in its capital city, Windyberrhagen Time: Saturday, 3 October 2009, at 8.00pm - midnight Denralia time. Thereafter the party will kick on at Jollimons until closing time Dress: Optional Enticements: Tri and Tony Pony will engage in an exhibition chair boxing match to entertain all with their mastery, skill and strength. Thereafter (and depending on the outcome of the exhibition), Tony will regale us with his fine crooning and general smooth muso style. Further enticements: Foreign accents will abound, including American, Danish, English, Spanish, Argentinian, New Zealand and Australian (what, no frenchmen ). The BOW hall of fame will also be open for inspection Specific enticements: - For E: There will be plenty of Chocolate Cake, Tequila, Chocolate Milk and Potatoes - For Windy: The palace is like a fortress - no teddy bear hordes or Soviets and we have a arranged for a guest appearance by Stevie Nicks. There will also be a statue erection ceremony in honour of the Denralian Knight Protector BYO: Love, peace and seaweed RSVP: In this thread by 2 October 2009 Otherwise DD, I have no idea.

Consider this my RSVP. I'll need convincing.
'flash measures' - now if that includes the princesses flashing me, I can guarantee that will up the chances of me sticking around...
Being that it is October 3, 2009. We might as well see if we can get Lindsey Buckingham along to celebrate his 60th birthday. If you could convince Buckingham and Nicks to do a modern and live version of 'Frozen Love', and 'Tango in the Night', I can guarantee that will up the chances of me sticking around as well...
Until then, devodiva88 is my ambassador to the board.

I wouldn't mind watching Tri & Tony duke it out for a few rounds, but if they're going to start singing too... it'll be like West Side Story on wheels. There better be PLENTY of alcohol in place for that. ;D
If we can get Lindsey and Stevie together, I'm putting in an early request for Silver Spring. Man, she just stares him down while singing that song live.

If someone needs further convincing - other than this excellent invitation by my fellow princess Doe - I´m happy to announce that I´ve just bought a new dress, which I´ll gladly flash ;D. I´ve already been in touch with the Buckingham/Nicks duo as well as Gnarls Barkley and Dave Matthews Band - they´re all going to perform, while we´re washing down potatoes and tiramisú with plenty of Amaretto and Tequila. If time allows, there will be wheelchair dancing in the ballroom of the Denralia Castle. Accommodation in the royal chambers can be arranged as well. (Doe, I think I´m ... ahem ... in love with you - although I don´t know if that´s allowed around here - (just kidding (I think ))).

I don't want to throw a damper on anything... but am I the only one who sees potential problems with Chocolate cake, tequila, chocolate milk and potatoes? o.O

Tri, I'd love to hear you sing, man - do you and Tony harmonize or is that just in the boxing ring LOL? Windy, you are a tough nut to crack. As for flash.... I've already said dress is optional, you'll just have to come along and see which one I choose - to dress or not to dress...that is the question! We will of course invite anyone who has anything remotely to do with Fleetwood Mac. As a further enticement, if you come back and stay for a while, I'll even promise to write you a silly rhyming poem for your birthday . DD, I love you too, sweetling. Now that you have let our secret slip, Tony's gonna be having sweet dreams for many nights to come ;D. Tony, can't wait to see what this vision does to your writing! Finally, Tri and Tony, I hope you get on the bat phone to your mate, Mr Fubbtastic and convince him to come to the party as well - we all know that Jollimons won't truly rock unless all three of you are there together .

Princess DD, tonight's the night for the grand party. I hope you have your dress pressed and your princess crown polished. I know that Tri and Tony have been practicing their chair boxing moves. I sneaked a peek earlier this week - lookin' good guys ;D. I've checked in with Fleetwood Mac and they are on their way as are the delivery vans with the chocolate cake, tequilla and potatoes. Now all we need is a Windrider to get it all happening . What do you say, Windy?
