Did you hear that Fubb, Tony called you an exotic animal ;D. Me, I'm a Tasmanian devil, although I'm not from Tasmania and have never been there, but Tony, here's one just for you - grrrrrrowlllllllll! Hopefully you're much nicer than a tassie devil Doe. They are not particularly endearing little creatures at all. Can be pretty nasty really.

Well, in that case.......thank you.......I think.......sexy and hot-looking has gotta be a good thing right? Hopefully you'll find me a little smarter......lol Sexy and hot-looking is definitely a good thing especially if one can add them to the other nice qualities I'm sure you possess. Welcome Amelie

You know OTP, generally all animals are nice until you tread on their tale and you're coming pretty close to stepping/ wheeling on mine. So just for you, I could have chosen an Emu - but my mother taught me never to make those noises in public, a kangaroo (tsk, tsk, tsk) or a koala - they make no sound at all. The audio effect was important here. I can't tell you whether I'm nice or not, that's for others to decide, but I am fairly confident at least a few of the regular members here would say so. I'm a bit disappointed with your comments given that you're a fellow Aussie and all.

You know OTP, generally all animals are nice until you tread on their tale and you're coming pretty close to stepping/ wheeling on mine. If you stepped on a tassie devil's tail it would bite your toes off and they make god awful noises like a banshee. As for stepping on your tale I did no such thing, you may relate it as often as you please. So just for you, I could have chosen an Emu - but my mother taught me never to make those noises in public, a kangaroo (tsk, tsk, tsk) or a koala - they make no sound at all. The audio effect was important here. Actually koalas do make noises but not all the time. I can't tell you whether I'm nice or not, that's for others to decide, but I am fairly confident at least a few of the regular members here would say so. I'm glad others think you're nice. Might actually be some truth in it. I'm a bit disappointed with your comments given that you're a fellow Aussie and all. Oh well can't please everyone all the time. I don't know why though. I'm telling it like it is. Just because I'm an aussie doesn't mean I have to think all of our wildlife is warm and fuzzy.

funny, my high school mascot was-still is-the Tasmanian Devil...not the actual animal, but the cartoon creature. our teams are the 'tornados', and since Taz was a kind of living whirlwind when he moved...hence our emblem/mascot. good question if they'd ever checked licensing and all that. knowing my HS i'd say probably 'no'.
as i recall, Taz made a sound sort of like; 'RAGlaglagAGlraglagag'!

I'm just wondering why this land of exotic animals is producing so many girls attracted to chairdudes. Ahhhhhh, maybe it's coz we're 'exotic animals' in our own right!! I think you hit it on the head there pony dude...

What sound dose a platapuss make? ... quack like a duck? Churp and bark like a bever?... or a noise all its own? ...LOL

I'm telling it like it is. Just because I'm an aussie doesn't mean I have to think all of our wildlife is warm and fuzzy. OTP, thankyou for your reply. With respect, you can't determine whether you stepped on my tail (or tale), that's my call. The only thing you can say is whether you intended to or not. I said nothing personal about you in my post, only that I was disappointed in your comments. I don't propose to trade sacarstic personal quips with you here - I don't know you and you don't know me. I use (or attempt to use) humour here in my posts because it enhances my PD experience and makes it more fun and I'm all for humour. However, my humour tends to be positive. You have said in your posts that you are online a lot, but that you have reservations about the quality of most people who IM/PM you. All I can tell you is that in the short amount of time I have been on this board, I have made contact with some great people who are of quality, people who I am proud to call my friends. I hope you find that here too. You could have responded to my post in a number of ways and you have chosen this one. At the end of the day, we will both be judged on this board by the quality of our posts. As for the Australian wildlife, because there are relatively few of us on the board, my presumption tends to be that I am going to get on well with other Aussies when they join - but c'est la vie.
