Well..... if we're all choosing Gods and Goddesses.... I bags [Aussie equivalent to "I call"] Athena . But I'm sorta thinking now that I would just love to be me and bring out my internal goddess, so in my immortalisation ceremony, I am going to become Doephne, Goddess of whimsey, wonder and multi-tasking . Also, Artemis... I double your yikes on Arwan - so yikes, yikes . Step into the light Arwan.....

I wonder what my fellow goddesses, Artemis and Doephne found, as I got: Arawn: can be the term for an annoying man! (Wikipedia) Wind, I suggest you take the name of Arwan instead; that means a brave and courageous man, and is thus much more suitable for you .

You already have a god name.... Isn't Vulcan one of the war gods? Was he the blacksmith or something?
I've gone back to clover... can't keep up with the Artemis stuff... so I'm gonna slide down Olympus and hang out in the fields again..

Vulcan was actually the crippled God, which the Devotee Aphrodite/Venus married. He was the blacksmith of the Greco-Roman gods (also known as Hephaestus) Aphrodite - that definition of Arawn fits me well, as I'm sure your brethren here and the rest of the board would well agree lol ; Arawn is also the Celt (particularly Welsh) God of Death. Tangled with Teyrnon and Rhiannon and the rest of the pack.

Arawn is also the Celt (particularly Welsh) God of Death. Yeah, that was the part that inspired "Yikes!"

He was the blacksmith of the Greco-Roman gods (also known as Hephaestus) I didn't even know Vulcan was a God name to be completely honest! LoL The reason I chose that name is because that in the Norwegian version of the Harry Potter books, Dumbledore's Phoenix is named Vulcan and not Fawkes as in the English version

Kudos to doe - Athena has always been my favourite goddess. Thanks Lord C, so who is your favourite god? In mythology - Apollo. In reality - moi! "And now I see the face of god, and I raise this god over the earth, this god whom men have sought since men came into being, this god who will grant them joy and peace and pride. This god, this one word: 'I.'" And before anyone concludes Lord Chatterley to be an insufferable egomaniac perhaps this quote from "We The Living" may shed some light: "Do you believe in God, Andrei? No. Neither do I. But that's a favorite question of mine. An upside-down question, you know. What do you mean? Well, if I asked people whether they believed in life, they'd never understand what I meant. It's a bad question. It can mean so much that it really means nothing. So I ask them if they believe in God. And if they say they do—then, I know they don't believe in life. Why? Because, you see, God—whatever anyone chooses to call God—is one's highest conception of the highest possible. And whoever places his highest conception above his own possibility thinks very little of himself and his life. It's a rare gift, you know, to feel reverence for your own life and to want the best, the greatest, the highest possible, here, now, for your very own. "

So I started reading up on which goddess I could most relate to and came across this site...for fun, I attempted the goddess quiz but couldn't be shagged to finish it off However, after reading up on the psychology of the goddesses...I feel I am a cross between Demeter and Persephone ... ummm...goddess Demone (perhaps???)
