Not one? Ok, somebody make up something lol. While we're waiting, here is a happy story...
"Wonder
(VERSE 1) Every time you walk by, I'm amazed at what you are. With every step you make, you're conquering my heart. (VERSE 2) As magical as sunrise, as beautiful as life, just seeing you smile, makes me want to be alive. (CHORUS) You are my wonder. You are my light, my hope and my dream. You are everything that makes this world worth living in. (VERSE 3) Emerald-green forests, where innocence lives on. Mystic mountain peaks, where earth touches the sun. (VERSE 4) All things under heaven, someday, will disappear. But my faith has been rewarded. I have my miracle right here. (CHORUS)"

There are people here who HAVE "fairytales" but they're busy with stuff that keeps them from here. My stories are more Grimm than fairy. lol So I, too, would love to hear some fairy tales. I vote we keep bumping this thread until we get one.

Oh, I've got a couple, but I'm on my phone My brother lives in a fairy tale. It would take too long to explain. Suffice it to say that it involves getting fired five minutes before flying to Seattle to decide if he wanted to pursue a relationship with a girl he'd met in Chicago. And then, when he'd decided to move, he couldn't sleep... and Sleepless in Seattle was on tv. And then he had no idea where he would live or work when he got there... but within a day he'd gotten the most cliche-perfect job ever and a one-bedroom apartment in a perfect location for $300 plus feeding a cat. And when they decided to move back to the Midwest, they got a lakefront condo for cheapsies. And they met playing Mafia Wars on Facebook.

I loooooove fairytales (But sorry to hear you you need pepping up ) So I went to university with my partner (we were just friends then, went on lots of field trips and hikes etc together). He is incredibly lovely and polite, and was always a bit of a dark horse (had a quietly bizarre sense of humour, very interesting, varied friends, could do weird athletic feats without being a dick about them), and I thought his ideal feline would be some incredibly hot, mountain biking redhead (I am none of these things haha). This continues for a few years. We always kept in touch after uni, and would hang out when I was back in town etc, and I used to feel like there was always something he wanted to say, but of course I never asked him. I ended up working in an incredibly far-flung place for a few months, and naturally shared some photos of me grinning like a banshee on facebook. I had a dream about him one night, and the next day he emailed and said I looked hot in one of my pics. I didn't really think much of it, as I tended to basically have extended one-night stands as 'relationships'. So before I flew back to the real world, I basically swore off guys until I could behave like an adult when I was sleeping with one. 2 weeks later, he came up to see me for christmas, as he'd moved countries by then, and it all just fell into place (aided initially by a lot of gin). He'd liked me for years, but didn't want to say anything that would ruin our friendship...but finally manned up ;D. I skipped the country to come and live with him, and here we are almost 5 years later

I met my husband when I was still entangled with a guy with whom I'd broken up five months earlier. I'd started dating that guy after my long-crappy marriage had ended. Things were stormy and we were always at loggerheads.
Anyways, I went to this BBQ and there were no other spots near my friend, so the host said, "Oh, go sit with those guys. They're from [town three hours away]; they're musicians, like you." (I am a classical singer; they did garage punk.) So I did.
And I didn't stand up for six hours. You know the part in SttS (it's in Devoted) where Jules asks Jeff how tall he is? I had to ask my husband that several days after we met.
The day after the party, I found him online. We started chatting and progressed to the phone within a week. We officially got together about two weeks later; he worked for the phone company, so he got free long distance, and one night we talked for eight hours -- literally until the sun came up.
We haven't missed a night since. He came up to visit every weekend and started looking for a job four months later. He finally moved up here a year after we met. We got engaged in 2010 and married last year.
He is the best person in the world because he listens to me and lets me love him.

Not sure if my story would qualify as a "fairytale" or not... maybe part of it. But it would probably be really, really long. LOL. A lot of it leaks into my fiction in one form or another... especially the part about unaccepting parents and a very wonderful partner you can lean on for support during a crisis lol...
