Reminder for the Germans: I live in another country but managed to watch the show. Could you please explain the relationship between the brother, Palfinger and Dr. Doll? I watched Königsmord with subtitles on Youtube and saw Dr. Doll before but didn’t know much about her besides his brother is trying to set him up or something. And yes I don’t know German even though I use a german greeting as my name Lol. Thank you so much

Thank you for the link! I think it was bear99 who put my feet on the path of Asian drama and I've been lost in this drama world ever since! I'm going to share some of the discoveries which might interest you. 1) Bangkok Rak Stories 2: Rueng Tee Koh features a story of a boy who goes blind on the eve when he meets the girl. It can be found on Netflix and the trailer is here: . There were too many secondary story lines to my taste but it had its sweet moments which touched my heart. 2) Inseparable Bros is a film about two men who had grown up together. One of them is mentally and the other physically handicapped. I haven't seen it with English subtitles and probably much was lost to me but it was still enjoyable. I especially loved the acting: it was incredible how much emotion can be expressed with facial expressions only. The whole film can be watched here: www4.dramacool.video/inseparable-bros-episode-1.html3) If you find a brilliant mind in a weak body sexy, then you could consider watching Nirvana in Fire. It is a Chinese historical drama (wuxia drama). The main character used to be a great warrior but his whole army was betrayed and he was poisoned. However, he returns with the plan to expose the betrayal, right the wrongs and help the righteous prince to the throne. The drama is long and has many characters, so that while watching the first five episodes I had the synopsis in Wikipedia open but it was worth the effort. The film focuses mostly on political affairs and the romance is touched upon fleetingly and this is what surprised me most: me, being a die-hard romance fan, being enchanted by and totally immersed in such a film - this shows how good this series was. I was really hooked until the end of it and shed many tears now and then... Later I found out that this film was a big sensation when it was released and there are even wax figures of the characters in Madame Tussaud's in Beijing (if this is a sign!). I couldn't find a proper trailer in English, so I'll post my favourite video instead: and the whole series can be viewed here: wwv.drama3s.to/watch/nirvana-in-fire-episode-1-724_11752.html4) I've just finished the drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, a South Korean historical drama. The drama features a young modern girl who time-travels into the past, to a court with many princes. One of them has had a traumatic past and is both ridiculed and feared due to his facial scar. His character is controversial and his actions sometimes disputable but as the film reveals the loveless aspects of his life, you start feeling sympathy and understanding. I think that the actor shows wonderfully the character's vulnerability under the rough exterior and managed to pull my heartstrings, especially during the first eight episodes. If you feel interested, then the trailer is here: and the whole series can be watched here: www4.dramacool.video/moon-lovers-scarlet-heart-ryeo-episode-1.html Thank you for sharing! I’ll make sure to check them out.

I’ll probably watch it some time during the weekend. However, from the earlier movies, I remember that she is a friend both brothers either grew up with or went to school with. I think the priest was (in earlier years) into her but since he decided he wants to be a priest and is not allowed to marry, he wants his brother to get together with her. But assuming on how you asked the questions, it seems that also in this episode, there’s not much happening between Palfinger and women in general... too bad.

I think this one is the rerun of the second episode (Zeugenmord). That makes a lot of sense since in episode three the priest says something like we both can’t have her. I think the relationship between them is really interesting. Can’t wait for future episodes. Thanks a lot

The next installment of Die Toten von Salzburg called wolf im schafspelz (Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing) will be aired on 20 November. It’s about the murder in the monastery. And judging from the trailer in the link below, there will be a lot of romantic scenes between Dr. Doll and Palfinger though they look somehow cheesy lol. tvthek.orf.at/profile/Additional-Content/1670/Die-Toten-von-Salzburg/14031855

And i would be forever indebted to you if you do. I've seen the first one (only in German) and then another one was posted on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMf_ujfGVHM), but that's it. I would love to see the two that came out this year.

Has anyone watched the new 90210? I never have but when research today for a book I'm writing, I came across something I'd totally missed! I searched for it in the boards but didn't see any mention.
Back in 2012, there was an arc on 90210 with a sexy wheeler physical therapist played by Riley Smith. Fun fact: Riley Smith was in Motocrossed, the Disney Channel Original movie that sparked some pre-pubescent dev lust for me back in the day.
Anyway, he has an arc of a well adjusted wheeler and is quite nice to look at. Riley Smith did a lot of research before playing the role, so though he is AB, he does a nice job.
This link is a playlist of all of the scenes with him:

I was watching The Alienist on Netflix and was caught completely by surprise at some very devvy scenes. I won't spoil it for those of you who might want to see it, but it has to do with the main character and it really impacts the story. I love it so much when I stumble upon devvy content I wasn't expecting, makes me so excited lol It's definitely worth the watch.

„Bitter Moon“ by Roman Polanski, of course! How could I have forgotten about this?! It’s been many years since I‘ve seen it; I wasn’t an aware dev back then. It’s a brutal, weird but great movie anyways. Roman Polanski, that says it all.
I couldn’t find a trailer, but here one crucial scene, just the beginning of the devvy part:

@celaena ahhh I ❤️ Riley Smith so much!!! He was on Joan of Arcadia too. Best friends with the pwd/caused accident in that one. He was a shit on that show at times too! Guess those are the types of roles they cast him in. Lol. I feel like he was in something else I really liked too. I’ll have to go look now.

I saw the movie in my teenage years, it was broadcasted in late hours on our national TV and I remember watching it with my father. I was deeply disturbed by it, but simply couldn't leave and go to sleep. As someone with deep repugnance to any kind of pain , that mixture of deep affection, but torture and abuse, that very dark symbioses, I was absolutely shocked and confused, but it kept me fixed to the sofa. More than 25 years have passed since, I remembered it few years ago, but I couldn't remember any detail about it, director, actors, nothing except for the cruise, man in the wheelchair and his hot young wife and although I tried, it was not enough to Google it. I am surprised I even forgot Hugh Grant, how could that ever happen?! LOL Million times thank you for posting it! However, personally, I don't find it devvy, I find it BDSM and that's definitely not my cup of tea.
Here is the trailer:
