Depends...would I walk up to a stranger I thought was cute and strike up a conversation? Probably I'd chicken out. I would try and look their way and smile pretending our eyes met by chance even though I've been probably watching him with the corner of my eye for an hour or smth. And then wait for them to come speak to me. Really selfish now that I think of it...poor guys we expect so much of you! If we were in the same group of friends I would not mind going up to them though. For sure the more I'm interested the more awkward I am, and the less interested I am the more easy it is, like Katie said. The worst thing though is that I blush so easily that ppl would guess right away if I'm embarrassed or smth.

Ladies just do this, and your signals will be received.

Ladies just do this, and your signals will be received. That would be a fantastic first move. I know for a fact it works. Subtle as it is...lol

OMG! I spread my first sip of coffee over my desk! But it's good right? Gets the message across. Hey, I'm sure this isn't a surprise to you ladies. There are many guys in chairs who are straightforward, confident and competent and perhaps charming. Heck, they may even have an ability to carry on a conversation with a woman. Then there are many guys in chairs who deal with feelings of inadequacy. They may not be picking up what you're throwing down. They could be inexperienced.... Sometimes you may need to take the bull by the horns and get to know the guy. Don't be afraid to take a chance and go for it. Life is not a dress rehearsal. We are live here ladies!!!!! How do you want to live. How do you want to be remembered? What was it that Hemingway said? Jbl

If I used the "Did it hurt? (Did what hurt?) When you fell out of heaven?" one, would they be offended?... I'm tempted to use it... to see if they find humor in my terrible pickup lines. But I don't want to be run over by a wheeler... or anyone... Or punched. If you ask a guy with SCI "if it hurt", he might not answer the way you expect. I know! Then I can't even get to the heaven part of my pickup line. PLAN RUINER! Maybe if I go with the "Are you tired? Because you've been rolling/pushing(to be determined later)* through my mind all night.*insert creeper face here* ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) " And then leave in shame. Geez.

If I had met my boyfriend IRL and not online, I'm sure I would have gone over to him and tried to start a conversation with him. I would have realised, it's now or never.

I would totally go strike up a conversation. Sure I'd be terrified and it may take some convincing/cheering on from my friends, but at the end of the day how often does that kind of chance just happen for a dev? Maybe once every two years, if that. At least that's how it seems to work in my life.

If I wasn't already taken... hmmm. I don't know how to make a first move, but if I gathered enough courage, and really wanted to get to know the person... If I used the "Did it hurt? (Did what hurt?) When you fell out of heaven?" one, would they be offended?... I'm tempted to use it... to see if they find humor in my terrible pickup lines. But I don't want to be run over by a wheeler... or anyone... Or punched. I wouldn't be offended, if anything I would probably do a weird little half squeal of approval and screw up the whole thing. How awesome would this be? I really wish someone would do this "omg omg." I says with my hands on my cheeks w\(((^_^)))/w
