For some reason, I never saw 21 Jump Street. I keep seeing the previews for the sequel and it does look hilarious. Now I want to see both! boooo to Channing Tatum! What a meathead! lol. Actually I did like the first one but I'm still expecting it to be crap to be honest. hahaha. Sin City 2 however is a different story. Eva Green is a fucking stud right now. And everyone check out Penny Dreadful if u haven't already. You gets to see Josh Hartnett's bumm and errythang I know, I know...but he can be a meathead as long as he's making me laugh. He's not THAT bad...well, Magic Mike...ok, he's a meathead, lol. (I did NOT see Magic Mike nor do I have any intention to...dumb dumb dumb.) You might be right. 22 Jump Street could end up being one of those movies where all of the funny stuff is what we've already seen in the previews and the actual movie is blah. I did not see the original Sin City, but both look pretty cool. And Penny Dreadful looks awesome! Channing Tatum, Josh Hartnett...they might be nice eye candy, but don't worry A$$y: they don't hold a candle to guys like you, at least not in my mind!

Give him a break....Firstly Welcome, but yes, just1888, you should try to get to know this board and the people here...we discuss everything from movies to the World Cup and in between we talk about dev or disabled related topics...it is not only about being a devotee or being disabled, there are many other topics and common interests people here share... I totally agree with Dani. PD is a great website where everyone can interact and find whatever their interests are. Let's be tolerant and welcoming. Members are from all around the world and it is not an English learning blog. We don't care about spelling, grammar and typo errors as long as we can communicate. I am French and it took me a while daring to express myself on the board because English is not my native language. I had to participate on this one to agree or don't agree with this thread. That being said welcome to all new members including Just1888

Some find ab's attractive and some don't. It can be a bonus, for some it's a must.

I could hardly be offended by a question, just1888! Im actually not one to fantasize or think about AB men being/looking disabled. So to me, I think he makes a great AB. I prefer disabled guys to look just how they are, and likewise for AB guys. (Not to say that he wouldn't make a great para!) Thank you. I find devotees so interesting. So do you mean Devs can find AB attractive, but is a disability like a bonus or do you just look past the disability? For me it is a bonus. I actually describe it with this word to those unfamiliar with the concept of devs. I'm guilty of having trouble seeing past sexy men's disabilities because of their sex appeal. It distracts me, but in a positive way. Disability is something we find sexy, not something we don't see. I can also be attracted by AB men. If an attractive man has a disability, this makes him at least hundred times sexier. On the other hand, we don't like any man just because he's disabled.

Welcome Just1888. Did someone mention Josh Hartnett´s behind? ******** As for spelling and grammar, yes, a lot of us appreciate when it is done correctly - and yet, we all know that not everyone is perfect at it, but obviously they are welcome here none-the-less! Besides, we have all been new members at some point and we have all stumbled in the beginning. What I look for personally, is if people improve. They get a nice hint at this or that and they behave accordingly. If someone keeps making the same mistakes over and over again, that is where I get annoyed and irritated. Like when people keep being mean to others. That is just too bad. ******** As for Just1888, he corrected his mistakes and thanked people. So it is all good.

Such difficult questions! Can you be more specific? disability affect people differently.
Short answer is yes it has to be whole package. A man I'm compatible with.
I have this idea that a man who has gone trough some shit in his life understands me better. This is ofc not true for all disabled men, it's has just seemed easier, all through my life, to connect with disabled men. I need structure so being with a disabled man who has an ordered structured life with set "rules" helps. But I also like that life with a disabled man can be unpredictable. There has to be a balance. -I think I would be bored in a relationship with an ab if we didn't have to face "difficulties" big or small, and solve them together. I want a man who can allow me to be the "stronger" sometimes and who will trust me and lean on me when needed, someone who can be honest with me if he is having a bad day. I don't want him to be all dependent on me, but I also wouldn't want a man who feels he has to do everything alone.

ok, thats cool. Do you think you could describe what is it that you find attractive in disabilities? I mean I understand the movements we make have something to do with it but is that it? Is it purely about the body or has it got something to do with how having a disability affects the mind? (I don't mean mentally disabled) Devs are a diverse group, many of them prefer different disabilities and are attracted by different aspects of it. Most of us don't really know what actually makes disabled men so attractive to them, they just are. I like what Ath said about the whole package.

I have CP too, and I have had some people tell me my spasms are hot....usually we can laugh about it, but maybe because it's, um, certain spasms more than others.....

Are you expecting a dev girlfriend will become your carer as well as your girl friend?

What do you mean by your gf turning into your carer?
I'm not sure if I understood your last posts correctly, especially the caring aspects.
My bf needs some help with his care. Even when I do it, he isn't really dependent on me because he could call his caring agency to come, but I prefer to do it for several reasons, one of them being that we're more independent like this. We're both dependent on each other in some ways but it doesn't bother us because we are a couple. I don't like to depend too much on people who have nothing to do with me, e.g. unreliable carers. However, actually the carer is depending on the one he cares for as well because it's the work he's paid for. We all depend on a lot of people in our modern society. Who would be able to survive on his own in the wild? I fully understand that you don't like to rely on carers. Would you object to your gf doing some aspects of it even if you both felt like you belong to each other? Maybe you could explain in more detail what you meant.
