I enjoyed spending some time with these beauties yesterday at the Warbird Auto Classic just outside Denver. It's been going on every year for 15 years, but this was my first time attending. The B-25 Mitchell behind me in the picture was apparently featured in Pearl Harbor with that Affleck guy. Before you ask, no, I didn't ask if it could be modified with hand controls Next time. Other highlights.

Man you’re a great looking guy with a warm smile. You’ve already shown by your writing that you’re intelligent. You’ll be glad you posted these pictures. You’re gonna have these gals swarming around you like flies!
Good luck. Doubt you’re going to need it.

He's looking a little older than he was in the Vacation movies, but he's still Chevy freakin' Chase. He's currently on tour to a handful of cities doing Q&A and showing his comedy classics. It was Caddyshack on the Denver stop. If you were a sucker like me, you could buy a VIP ticket for $200 and you get a killer seat and a photo op with Mr. Chase. My buddy talked me into it, but in all honesty it wasn't a hard sell. I grew up on Chevy's movies and I'll always pay for unique experiences over "things." When he saw me first in line at the meet & greet, there was a look of panic on his face, as though he'd never seen a disabled person before! He looked at his various assistants and said, "what do I do, stand up, sit down...?" I told him, "don't you worry, Chevy, I know what I'm doing," as I backed my scooter in right beside him. His look told me that he was surprised that I had thoughts and could form words. I know THAT look! He just went with it, no doubt saying a little prayer that the whole tortuous process of meeting his fans would be over soon. The photo was snapped and seconds later I was swapped out with the next annoying fan. It was a fun time - maybe not worth $200, but a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet a guy who has given me a ton of joy over the years. P.S. - Everything you've heard about him is true. Complete asshole.
