Tykes, I'll trade ya my legs for ur hands! But actually, my legs don't spaz much anymore with my muscle relaxant, maybe in middle of night they go nuts, but i will take a pill in middle of night, too- they just too irritating. yah Maurine, i think same a lot...these legs look like I could just jump up n run, but nope, so not connected to brain. Even though my legs look normal, the muscles really aren't toned, the muscles are soft, not strong n defined like they used to be. curious what ur legs look like...hehehe

Yeah agreed, 2 or 0 (but 0 comes with other caveats).

Yeah agreed, 2 or 0 (but 0 comes with other caveats). Somehow I get it, I do prefer symmetry in the leg department (not arm-wise, tho). My absolute favorite would be DAK, but I don't dislike all the other possible combinations...

Asymmetry is often devvy to me, so one leg would be fine. My interest in symmetric amputations is fairly new.

I've thought about this, too, as the guy I'm dating has mentioned a couple of times how everything would be easier if he had his legs and/or arms amputated (although I'm not sure how serious he is about it).
I do not -I repeat- DO NOT agree with this. At all!
The biggest dev turn on for me in this relationship is how his body looks and feels, given the fact he can only move his shoulders and therefore there's not a lot of "different" (=devy) movement (transferring, etc.) he does on his own. So, all that's left is how different his body looks and feels and because of that I don't think I'd find him devy if his arms and legs were missing. I'm really into every little inch of his body, but without arms and legs, there would be so little left of him for me to explore...
Also, I must admit (and I really hope none of the amp guys around here take this the wrong way) I'm not into amputations at all, so for me it would not be a turn on if on top of the missing movement and feeling there would be amputations. And I'm not only talking about my current relationship, but in general. My devness is clearly limited to SCI, so for me it wouldn't be a turn on at all.
Oh and regarding the original question: I like skinny legs. I also like skinny men (AB and PWD), so for me it always has to be skinny legs. Other than that I don't really think I'm very demanding when it comes to this topic, though.

so this thread got me thinking .......... many of us paras/quads particularly the "veterans" do face the prospect of facing an amputation, that may be foot or leg, this could be due to deterioration of circulation, pressure sore, broken bones not healing etc, I do know a T5 who had his leg amputated at the knee after he broke it and it wouldn't heal. So i was wondering would a para/quad amp push an amp dev buttons the same way a non para/quad amp would?, ever thought of that "mix? likewise would a para/quad dev still have her buttons pushed if he was also an amputee (or even push more buttons)?. I guess its all down to your particular devness (maybe ive just answered my own question) This got me thinking. I don't think I'd find a quad/para with an amputation as devvy as any other amputee, because if I examine my devvy preferences, a big part of what I like about amputees is the way they move the residual limb/limbs (for example, an arm amputee using his stumps to move or pick up something). Also, I like the hardware, so prosthesis and such. The lack of mobility would be a bit of a turn off, I guess... But who knows? This is all theory, and as many of us mentioned before in a thousand occasions, lots of things might change depending on the person we meet.

It'd depend on the guy. If I knew him before his amputation and liked his legs, I'd miss them, but it's really hard for me to answer this hypothetical question.

For me less is more when it comes to limbs in general, that being said it's more than just like amputees, that includes limbs that are super thin and even smaller than "normal" for whatever reason. Hope that makes sense

Lately, I'm just not fitting in my chair very good. For many years it's been a tight squeeze, but doable. Now, and you have to take in account I'm going to be 57 in August, my hips are hitting the wheels hard enough that it's like pushing with brakes on. I thought I could simply un-camber my wheels a lil bit, but my chair is crazy old, and it won't allow small adjustment to it. So, today i put my buddy's belt around my legs, pulling them in towards each other. by doing this it pulls my hips away from wheels just a little. The right side is fine, but the left still hitting too much. It looks so stupid to me, but fuck it, I have to push, u know.
I have a new chair, but as a any quad will tell you, everything is so hard to change...i hate it! One small change results in some other unforeseen problem. One thing's for sure, legs don't look very good strapped up. Well, maybe if you dig bondage, which I don't.

No-one likes the chicken legs in plantain look? Got some nice legs there... Thats more the type I like, closer to normal looking, a bit chunky, maybe thanks to spasms...?? Dont really go for skinny ones...
