Just wondered if any of the UK devs watched Don't Take My Baby? I thought it was excellent. A woman who has a muscle wasting disease and a man who is loosing his sight fall in love and have a baby. Right from the word go they are oppressively over looked by social workers to prove that they can care for their baby. The acting was so good, the story harrowing. There were a few minor dev moments and a biggie towards the end - where his sight has gotten worse and he clicks out a white cane to assist him walking into the meeting which will decide their daughter's future. But the story over shadowed any need for devness. Brilliant watch!

Yep, it's there on iPlayer.
Blurb says 'Factual drama which tells the story of a disabled couple's agonising struggle to keep their newborn baby. Based on real-life testimony, this emotional tale will call viewers' prejudices and beliefs about the disabled community and society as a whole into question, as we learn about a situation many disabled couples find themselves in as new parents.'

I watched it on iplayer. Also watched The Lookout, unconnected but a great film about a guy getting over a TBI, very interesting and a good story. Not very Devy but good film.
