pamnice...I would probably always try to be outside and stuff to catch a glimpse of the "hot neighbor"...it would be difficult for me to know there is an attractive wheeler living close by. Does he have a partner? Not that I'm implying something but that would make it even harder for me if he lived there by himself... Dani, the problem is it's about 2 miles away, I live in the country so the houses are far apart. I can only see his house as I'm driving by, Its too far to walk. He does not have a partner. His wife left him several years ago. He lives with a brother or cousin. I look every single time I pass by.š

I have to brag now a little bit. I went to the wheelchair marathon in Heidelberg today. I got to see quite a few good-looking and sporty guys. I was there with my one friend who knows and even though we only could spend there about an hour, it was great. I didnāt see much of the race but I figured it was way more interesting for me to see the guys back in their regular chairs instead of their hand bikes. Iām probably going to be weak for the rest of the day.
its going to be held again in 2 years. So, dev sisters, if anyone wants to join... let me know.

I very rarely see any disabled men in my town, but my boyfriend is visiting soon for a week. He is a para, so from the moment he arrives and transfers from the car, i will be on a crazy dev high for the whole time. Whilst i adore the time we spend together, it always results in making me feel down as he leaves. I then have weeks of my dev feelings being huge but with no outlet, so back to reading stories, watching movies and youtube etc. Its so unsettling. I suppose its the perfect example of good balancing with bad.

Yep, I get that feeling @delight. LDRās are hard. I have a big emotional dip after Iāve spent the weekend with my boyfriend and have to go home, knowing I wonāt see him again for a fortnight. Spending longer than that apart I think Iād find really difficult.
I love the devvy feelings he gives me, but itās pretty low level most of the time now and I donāt feel the need to look at disability stuff between visits. I think my initial dev high after finding PD is long gone and destined never to return.
I often wonder if any devs in the wild spot us together when we are out. Or notice him when heās on his own. Heās always doing wheelies, mostly for no reason other than ābecause he canā, so he must draw attention to himself at times. It makes me smile to think about it. :-)

I discovered him through "devotee quatre vingt sept"'s fb page (in her friend list). I saw btw that she is also member here.

Not a real life spotting, but Iām on Tinder now and I just spotted a guy whose only sentence in his profile was āI am deafā. I immediately swiped right. Hope he does, too, bc I would totally message him (which I donāt so far).
