Venice here, the original one the one temporarily belonging to Italy. Until the sea reclaims it or it becomes its own empire

It’d be cool to build a collaborative virtual map with thumbtacks showing where each person is. Maybe at a coarse enough granularity so that it’s not hyper-local for privacy reasons. But something like the closest major city or something. Because I read through all these locations in text form but a map would be so much easier to visualize. For example, like a custom Google Map hosted in a burner account or something.

Don't we have any IT cracks here who could set something like this up?

Or someone can always create a huge country or city directoryish thing that gets updated whenever someone posts to this forum. I'll take a look into my FB group I'm in that does that.

Heh, please don't do away with the text map though, I will be very sad if all that info suddenly becomes inaccessible to me as a blind person I myself am in Arnhem, in the Netherlands, which is really close to the German border. I've been to Cologne a number of times simply because it's just about as far away from me as my folks live away from the city I live in, which is funny in a way if you start thinking about it too much :-)

Arnhem, in the Netherlands Home of the 1980 Summer Paralympics, or Olympics for the Disabled as it was called then. I was 13 and it was a massive awakening for the dev in me! R.
