I'll continue that trend Never heard of them, but really liked what I heard so far! I've downloaded two of their albums on Amazon Music now and am excited to have something new to listen to on my endlessly long drives to work Thanks newjess !

Dani, feelsunshine, AmeeI'm so glad you guys are digging them!! I pretty much love every song they've ever made lol. They are one maybe the only band I can listen to all of their albums all the way through and honestly love every song. Most bands, even bands that I adore, I usually skip at least a song or two lol. Apparently they are really big in Australia, their home country ( wonk can confirm) but not nearly as well known in the US (not sure about the UK or other countries). I only have like two other friends that know them here lol They are currently doing a tour in the US after taking a long hiatus. The lead singer has been dealing with a debilitating chronic illness but thankfully has recovered to the point they are touring and releasing new music. I have been looking forward to this show for months lol

So, newjess, you might like them as well:

feelsunshine yesss I love The Coral! They are another big time favorite. Which actually reminds me, I recently discovered another indie British band called Stornoway. I've had them on heavy rotation this week lol ETA: fun fact, the first video turned out to be pretty accurate lol. The lead singer eventually left the band to work in wildlife conservation. The theme of connecting with nature and wildlife is present in a lot of their songs/videos www.walesonline.co.uk/news/local-news/former-folk-band-lead-singer-13610585

I’m browsing through this bands YouTube videos and comments and came across a lot of comments from non-Germans, which made me wonder: are they known internationally? I mean, the guys voice is amazing and I’m certainly not the only one who has a little crush on him (well, maybe here I am 😜), but I didn’t realize how many people outside of Germany listen to German music, especially when it’s in German. Anyone here know them?

strawberrybubblegum I had never heard of them before but I love it!! Definitely going to check out their stuff I was laughing at myself as I was listening it sounded like this to me: "German German German POCAHONTAS German German POCAHONTAS German German" As that was the only word that my brain recognized lol. I love listening to other languages though and after a while even if I don't know the language at all it almost starts to sound familiar as my brain gets used to it lol

strawberrybubblegum I'm outside Germany and I know them, but it probably doesn't count, since we speak German in my country newjess I love listening to other languages too! I really appreciate good lyrics in a song, but not understanding a word is a cool way to experience music as well! It gives you the freedom to interpret anything into the words, based on just the music and the emotions you're hearing

I recently discovered an Austrian singer-songwriter, who I think is still very unknown outside Austria. Her name is "AVEC". She sings in English, though, so no foreign-language experience for anyone

I thought I had mentioned that, but I didn’t. Sorry, it was late.
