A guy walked inside the hospital I work/study and demanded to enter the maternity without an ID, the security guard refused to let him in, he went back to his car, came back with a gun and shot the guard in his mouth.
That's the kinda month I'm having. Great, like having a bullet stuck in your throat (like the security guard... Who hasn't died yet.)
I had a picture of me sleeping on the floor early this week that pretty much sums up my year so far, but uploading it is too much of a hassle for an embarassing picture lol

My week is good. It is sunny now so my winter hibernation is over. A thing I had with someone just ended last week, so it's kind of nice that I am free now and there are new possibilities.

Oh no ada - I hate guns!!! I'm glad you are okay (I'm sure the PTSD will settle in - I'm sorry ). Go for help if you need to.

The week was going good until today . There was a fire at my work (which was somewhat survivable) and I came home to find out a family member is dying (just found out the news). Amazing how life can change in a moment. Don't take anything for granted. I'm re-evaluating everything at the moment - feeling totally sad and defeated to be quite honest.

adathat's horrible. I'm so sorry...where do you actually live that this happened? In the capital, Brasília. And funny thing... When I remembered to call my parents to let them know I was fine, they told me they didn't even know that it'd happened! The political chaos this week monopolized all communication vehicles.

All three are not great at the moment, hence the lack of posts and replies to PMs. Here's a song to fit m'mood. Just don't read too much into the 'pretender' part. Ditto to this...although I’m not much for Freddie Mercury outside of the obvious hits from Queen. But it’s likely due to a lack of exposure

I've had a pretty good 30 days, except for the fact that I am still disabled.... We visited with my brother's family for a few days, we are now in Tahoe for a few days, and most days I have been able to get up late. The Tahoe time is particularly special for me, because it results in a togetherness as a family that we just don't have back at home. And I have also seen some movies, listened to my favorite music at loud volumes, and visited my wife's butt. All the non-good stuff was disability related, as usual. The trip to visit with my brother included a bed under which the Hoyer lift would not fit, a terrible bed that trapped me in one position, and a difficult bathroom situation. My physical therapy is really helpful and necessary, but contributes to limiting the number of hours I have to do what I want.

I’d say this month has been ok, but this week was awesome. Best week I’ve had in awhile. Today was the first warm day since probably October so I’m loving it
