Just saw this, anything that works for two people is cool to me! Is this site not about finding acceptance and fulfillment for all involved? Go for it!

I'm open to this kind of exploration through writing :) provided there is respect for boundaries and a friendly connection

Both parties should establish what they'd like to do, and what they wouldn't. Boundaries keep everyone happy and safe if they're followed properly, so I agree with that.

In the past I've tried IM or DM conversations, as well as exchanging original short stories through email. Personally I draw the line at role play that involves audio or video because I am in a relationship. Others might feel totally fine taking it in that direction. I've done both in the past. I've exchanged stories or roleplayed a story with the dev, and I have sent a few videos to some devs, or photos, so it all kind of depends on the type of interaction one desires.

I'd be open to RP and conversation with women only. Will I need my polyhedral dice? 😎 ✌

I have also done RP before. But for me personally I definitely want there to be a mutual connection. Meaning you first have to check out if you are on a same level and of course, exchange some pictures and if you still like each other, let the fun begin lol. I wouldn't mind doing it again, but I think it's not something that can be triggered by a thread like this. If you feel attracted to someone, I think stuff like that will arise naturally. No need to state that in a thread beforehand.

Yep it's something that can evolve naturally, particularly if you originally meet 'online' but still real life role play is much much better 😜 I completely agree Tykes. Real life is the way to go! 😊

Real life is the way to go! 😊 Which would be fine and dandy, but I've been off-and-on going to this group for nearly 10 years, and I've never seen a dev in Chicago, the third largest city in the U.S. where I'm at. Devs are exceedingly rare, so sometimes, it's a good icebreaker online to see if there's chemistry between a dev and PWD.

I also agree with you B4I. Online is a good place to start, in fact probably the best place, but then if there's chemistry real life is the best place to be.

I think there have been quite a few relationships which have sprung from this site. I think the role playing is a great way to test if that chemistry is there in the first place, and also a good way for both devs and PWDs to gain confidence in themselves as they learn about each other.
