Hey! 35 year old male quad here. I've been injured for over ten years but new to the dev scene. Thought I'd make a profile and see what it's all about! Apparently this is the thread to make introductions..so hello!

No worries about posting in the wrong section. There aren't super specific rules about which section to post in except when it comes to the devs only section. That area is not for the disabled guys to read or post in. If you want to can delete your first intro from the general section, just go to that post and click on the little cog icon. The drop down menu should give you the option to delete. Welcome!

Hi bb, welcome along.
Best thing is to get involved in the threads and tell us a little about yourself so we can get to know you.
You mentioned messaging in your other post... once you have made 10 posts you can private message, in the meantime you can reply if someone PMs you.
Have fun. R.

Curiosity kind of brought me here. I do a lot of peer mentoring for newly injured sci's, and of course the sex conversation always comes up. I helped create a peer support network and our topics have been about sex, intimacy, and relationships. Between that and studying about the sexual revolution in school, I've been learning all about counter cultures and sexual norms. I was hoping to learn more about devotees. When you first realized? What is the attraction? Are you open about it? Others reactions to you? That kind of thing. I'm straight but all view points are appreciated. Its interesting because more times than not people with sci aren't sexualized, which is something that needs to be changed.
A little more about me, I am from the United States. Injured in a car accident over ten years ago. I did the rehab thing, then went back to school, got a job, house, all that good stuff to regain my independence. I've been lucky to do some traveling, Canada, Egypt, Ireland, Scotland are my passport trips. Traveling is definitely a passion of mine. I am active in sports and recently went back to school a couple years ago to further my education.

Welcome to PD, sounds like you could be a great addition to the group. I have a question already, what is "sexual revolution" in school referred to?

Tbh at least in my case the story is quite simple and straightforward, but if you are ever interested in talking just send me a DM and I can tell you my thoughts and story.

Welcome to PD! It's nice to see a new guy on here who reads threads/posts (and even stories), is open minded, and who wants to learn about devs. I'm willing to share my experience as a dev if you are interested.
