I made an impulsive decision to get Tenacious D tickets to Red Rocks this summer. Wheelchair seating is in the front row, which swayed my decision. That sounds amazing. I think you win the summer concert contest lol

Other than local bands here, Flipper and The Slackers are the only bands that are truly must-see for me this Spring. I never thought Flipper could/would reunite, and I'm still scratching my head how I've never been able to catch The Slackers on tour until now.

I've got Death Cab for Cutie and Lord Huron coming up. Supah excited. Will be my second time seeing Death Cab, and they are playing in an outdoor venue which is awesome. Not quite Red Rocks lol, but outdoor shows are always great (I have been lucky, seen some epic shows at Red Rocks) Awesome, that will be a great one for sure...wanted to see Lord Huron as well in Seattle.

I just bought tickets for Guster yesterday. I haven't seen them for over 10 years and they are playing at a great venue thats right on the water. My favorite band, Toad the Wet Sprocket is in fact coming to a local venue for two nights again this year. I have tickets to both nights. So excited!

Unfortunately I'm not sure what's going to happen with Death Cab. They are playing an outdoor venue but it looks like we are going to get hit with crazy storms and they predict it'll be at it's worst the night Death Cab plays. We shall see.. luckily Lord Huron is playing indoors the next night so that one should definitely still be on lol. Will let you know how it is! Knowing them I feel like they will put on a cool and unique show

I'm showing my age, but I went to see Styx this weekend with my classmates. I loved them when I was in high school so it was really cool to see them in person. Dont know how many young people even know who they are. Now that my kids are older, I find myself wanting to go to concerts again. Reliving my youth lol

Not much this summer in terms of shows for me. Flotsam and Jetsam next month, Slipknot in August. In October Sabaton and Amon Amarth are coming through within a week or two of each other which is amazing. Earlier this month I saw Slayer for the 5th and probably last time if this really is their last tour.

I didn't know that you identify as some sort of a metalhead, James!
For me, I just noticed The Cure is going to play at Flow festival, so I'm going to check that out. Rumours also tell that there's going to be a cripple in an upcoming rrrrap video, haha.
