Your poll is inaccurate BTW. If anyone is 30, 40 or 50 they can choose either the older or younger category. This is to prevent trauma for those sensitive about the passing of another decade. Yea, I also didn't really wanna do intervals of 5.

Lol yeah I'm 30 and went with the 20-30 range because I feel like I JUST left my 20s. Though honestly I don't mind getting older, like manda and DG said, the older I get, the happier I am (and I give way less fucks lol) Though as usually age groups tend to range from 0-9 (20-29, 30-39, 40-49, etc) I will admit it has been a little weird realizing I officially don't fall into the 20s category anymore (after all that was the case for the past decade of my life lol)

After a decade we have infinitely more wisdom. It wasn't hard at all for me to select 40 in the 40-50 category. Maybe this poll was made to make us stop and think about our lives, and ourselves.

Very true! My 20s weren't easy (to put it simply) but I learned a lot. I feel things are starting to fall into place now. I am much more at ease with things that used to get to me, and much more resilient when it comes to adversity. I will say tho that for me, choosing 20-30 as a 30 year old was not so much because I had negative feelings about 30-40, but because I'm a statistics nerd, and 20-30 just felt more accurate in that sense ππ. Interestingly the 40-50 range seems more accurate to me for a 40 y/o, versus the 30-40 range. Probably because when I think of people in their early 30s, nowadays so many of us are still not "settled down". Haven't bought houses, not married/no kids, etc, (obviously not always the case). I associate this more with being closer to the "20s". But when I think of a 40 y/o I think of them as in their "40s" lol. Probably because it's much more common for a 40 y/o to own a house and/or be more settled (again not always the case). It's like the mid to late 30s is kind of the turning point in my mind lol. Of course this is all based on generalizations and my perception lol

I'm still looking for a girlfriend that doesn't run away when she finds out what incomplete L5 means. I don't own any skinny jeans, or hoodies though, so I'm making progress.
