I just got back home from a vacation to Menorca where there were lots of turtles in one of our hotels. They were everywhere! At the pool, in the gardens, in our backyard... Now I want a pet turtle. They’re so cute!

strawberrybubblegum, we have a tortoise and he is really cool. He actually knows his name and will come when called-no joke 😊.

Back to the main subject of the thread, a Monkey always seemed a cool pet as a kid and a teen but it just wouldn't be right. Sure it seems cool to share a home with our evolutionary ancestors but to take them from their own environment to ours seems cruel. In fact, without looking, it's outlawed isn't it?[/quote]
Dont worry king hopper, it was only something i thought as a child lol. I have children now, so no need for anymore monkeys

I already have a rather vast collection of rescue birds (several disabled ones) at home, among them two parrots and several smaller birds and they all share an extra room. I truly adore them and if I had enough money and space, preferably a large house in the countryside with no neighbours/ deaf neighbours, I would love to have a large aviary for more maltreated parrots in need of a home.

Do you happen to have a Giant Barn Owl, big enough to ride? Amazon still has them on backorder, and they don't have a clue when they are going to get in another shipment of Devs. The whole thing is very frustrating!

The waiting list for a dev via Amazon will be ages, like all rare and exquisite items the demand is great

Indeed, so many get put off before something good comes along and they miss it. Going back to the Giant Barn Owl/Dev combo, one wonders if it'd be too much for Pizzas to be added in to the bargain. The best things come in threes after all.

Guys, guys, do I need to remind you that owls love pizza? Unless you're prepared to share you better keep the pizza under wraps. Even if you don't mind sharing, owls can be aggressive and might just eat all the pizza.

Good paint Mike! Sorry, point.
In all the dizzy euphoria regarding the combination of pizza, devs and Owls I'd forgotten how defensive how owls can get over these matters.
Rumor has it that Ducks behave similarly around Lasagne.
But the image of a Dev riding a horse sized Duck eith a lasagne in tow isn't nearly as romantic.
But a Dev arriving with a gang of duck-sized horses sounds adorable.

I'd like to be sitting next to a PWD eating pizza with some owls nearby (and cats)
