I had this very grounding but funny experience today.
There I was hanging out a bit on this German online dating site for PWD when a guy wrote to me: „Even though you are different, you seem to be a nice person...“ Uwahahahaha. I got so spoiled with PD that I had almost regarded myself as „normal“. Sometimes it’s helpful to be reminded of reality... and there again, I am happy to be part of this community. Hugs to all of you!!!

Many of my stories start off with - "There....I....was" too. It's a classic epic story opening.

Who wants to be normal ? That's no fun, the real excitement starts when you push the boundaries of "normal"

What the hell is normal anyways... I'm sure you are more "normal" than most if all we're talking about is the devotee thing. Perhaps that is not what he was talking about, in which case I bow out... Hahaha.

If being a devotee makes me not normal, then that's fine. I dont care because I think it's great. Now if I had an outward sign, like the big red "D" on my forehead, then I might feel more not normal lol

without people that act out of the norm in some way, the norm on which normal is based would never change. That change is pivotal for human development. In other words , welcome to the club :pI

Those disabled dating sites are always filed with weirdos, don’t worry too much about it.

Don't worry, be happy - that maybe was meant as a compliment.

He'll never get to know what a brilliant, loving, and powerful demi-Goddess you are He is obviously not worthy.

I think I would feel kind of ticked off if a guy would write that to me. And he would really have to do something special to prove himself worthy of letting him see my "different" side...

Haha Dani, actually it was his reaction after I had politely turned him down. He seemed to be a nice person and he really meant it as a compliment. That was the funny part.
