I mostly watch comedies myself but I know the catalogues of the various streaming services pretty well . What are some of your favorite shows or what genres are you interested in? It’s easy to give a general recommendation of our favorite shows but everybody has different tastes so let’s see what we can come up with for ya I am pretty easy going, especially at 3am lol. Id love to try watching new stuff that i may not have considered otherwise. Only thing im not too keen on is sci fi....but im willing to give it a go.

Haha alright I’ll try to be diverse with the selection here, and I’ll leave out the more popular recommendations: American Vandal - Incredibly hilarious fake documentary series about high school shenanigans. It seems ridiculous at first but it’s actually kinda addicting. Wild Wild Country - Actually docuseries about a bizarre cult that developed. Short and really well explored. The IT Crowd - Timeless sit-com, typical slapstick humor Love - Basically a rom-com tv series. Some really great acting, fun scenes, good dialogue and just a well-rounded show Black Mirror - Weird and dark and serious The End of the F*cking World - Weird and dark and lighthearted Bojack Horseman - Sad but funny cartoon. Lots of humor mixed with abrupt introspectiveness I Think You Should Leave - Ridiculous sketch comedy My Next Guest Needs No Introduction - Interview series with David Letterman and some of the most influential living cultural figures

Havent come across this, so thank you for my first new 3am idea
Just be warned @delight, it does get fairly bloody and violent, but I'd say there are some 'devvy' aspects to it too...
Is it actually called "vikings" ? I did a netflix search and it came up with various vikingish stuff but not that exact title ?

Ok.... I know zombies are so cliche now...but I love iZombie. The main actress is so good. Everytime she eats brains, she takes on their personality. I feel like she can act anyone!!

I am a big fan of Daredevil (the dev factor is for sure a huge plus) I also loove Jessica Jones and Sherlock Holmes. The last one I binged was Outlander. It's a historical romance with a very mild fantasy side to it. Lots of sex and violence though, so be warned of that.

Sherlock Holmes and Peaky Blinders are two of my favorites. Peaky Blinders OH MY GOD so freakin hot ! You're obviously talking about Polly. She carries herself with a sort of confidence that comes from years of experience. Which is indeed, so freakin hot.

Peaky Blinders is brilliant, nice to see it having done well outside the UK.
I second Bojack Horseman, one of the most introspective and thought-provoking comedy dramas I've seen.
I recommend you give Inside No. 9 a go too, shades of Tales Of The Unexpected but damn good in it's own way.
Has IN9 reached the US yet?

We can stream seasons 1 & 2 on Hulu here now, but otherwise it’s quite difficult to find. I may or may not have pirated all the episodes as they’ve been released

What've been your favourite episodes so far? Interesting thing about IN9 is how varied favourite episodes can be.....simply due to how varied the episodes are themselves. I also recommend League Of Gentlemen and Psychoville.

Found the show right around the time Black Mirror season 2 released because I was so hooked on that. Haven’t heard of those (and that’s saying a lot based on my tv obsession ) but they look good!

I’m surprised no one has said Stranger Things since season 3 just came out... I would suggest: 1. Sex Education 2. Final Space 3. House 4. Criminal Minds Also, if you’re into anime, I would suggest: 1. Soul Eater 2. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood 3. Future Diary I suggested these because I think they’re pretty unanimously liked by people I know who have watched them, but I could probably give better suggestions if you let us know some of the recent things you’ve watched and enjoyed.
