Oh wow ...that is a conversation and a half :-O I currently work with c#, but am also proficient with PHP, Python, Ruby and learning more JavaScript every day. Honestly ... the way I do musicing (that is now a word, bite me ) , the way I program and such is a bit of a leap off topic me thinks :-) Would love to explain it all to you though, what would be a good way to do that? I'm not super familiar yet with how members take discussions private as it were 😔 Just for your information, it's impossible to leap off topic on this board. Believe me, I've tried.
頑張って! ^^;
Well, we do sometimes… ahem… go off on some tangents, but do eventually get back to the original point. This just got me thinking about differential geometry, whoops!

Favorite anime ...wow ...depends on my mood. If I am feeling introspective I can enjoy an old but somewhat still relevant one like Chobits I grewu p with really mainstream shounen though, so ...dragonball z, naruto, bleach etc. do have a special place in my heart for being the first anime I used to watch ....on youtube ...in English ...actually not sure if I want to think about that now *whinces*. I only really recently (last year) figured out a reliable way to watch stuff with subtitles so I still have a lot of stuff that I really should watch. Recommendations welcome, of course :-)

Hey! Cool intro! I have a bunch of friends who are really skilled in music and language whereas I suck at both *eep* I’ve always wondered if there was some sort of correlation. Feels like they could both reside in the same part of the brain, considering music feels like a type of language in itself. Anyhow, welcome!

I'm also a bit of an Evangelion nut; that show was my primary inspiration toward studying Japanese for three years in college.

Evangelion is one of those that I really , really still want to go watch when I find time for it. It's on my list after I finish Yu-Gi-Oh GX, Rise of the SHield Hero and Log horizon

Watch Evangelion! It’s great. But do yourself a favor and watch the original tv series including the totally crazy last two episodes, not the movies where they backed down from the experimental weirdness and gave the fans what they wanted.

Why are you learning Polish? I visited Poland a few years ago and that language is hard! Well I hear Japanese and Mandarin are as well. Actually I never heard of a language that was easy to learn.

Mandarin I learn because I think it will be useful to know, Japanese because I like the language and the way it works. Polish is a bit of a personal challenge, I have friends from there and there's a very active Polish community here in the Netherlands :-)
