I was going to post this in the “Devs Only” section but decided the guys might like to hear what a dev thinks is sexy or interesting when seeing a PWD. I’ll start...
I saw, who I call my grocery store para (I see him frequently) in the grocery store today. Surprisingly, I was calm and didn’t have wheeler effect the several times we passed each other. BUT, as I was walking out of the store, I was behind him. I was starting to feel some dev feelings as I was watching him push his cart with one arm while rolling along. And then, a really pretty woman was walking into the store and watching him slow a bit and check her out just sent me into the biggest dev high! Go figure...

I hope a Dev catches me doing pull-ups at the gym one of these days.

Love this!
As a new member I'm still learning about myself. I love the idea of watching a guy managing to push his trolley around the shop one handed whilst managing to still control his chair! I'm so jealous!
I used to date a guy with SB who had a really strong upper body but his legs were so short and skinny as a result of not ever using them. I used to love it when we went swimming and I would watch him lower himself down to the floor and then drag his legs with his arms into the pool as he couldn't move his legs on his own. Once in the pool his arms would work even harder than normal to compensate for not being able to kick his legs.
The way he moved his body through the water and the way his legs just sort of floated behind him sent chills right through my entire body. I didn't fully understand it at the time but I understand now that it was a real dev high.
I really miss those times!

Hhhmm. Difficult one for me.
I think every dev knows THAT feeling when you see the right guy... excitement, nerves, pounding heart, trembling knees, tingling groin, turning stomach...
But what causes it is a mystery to me. As we have often discussed I see PWD guys who should do it for me but don't and guys who shouldn't but do.
For me it's mainly just doing normal everyday stuff but it can't be as simple as a guy doing his shopping can it? There has to be something that the guy has.
Some guys have it and some don't, so I'm going to have to just call it IT.
R.

I would like to clarify, it was the aspect of him checking out the lady in combination with his capability that put me over the top dev wise.
He typically triggers a dev response in me anyways but watching his sexuality and interest come alive just pushed my devness over the top! 😳😉

I have experienced this feeling and it is just like robb described. Then the excitement just throws me off and I'm a jumble of nerves and cant think properly lol. This is pretty much always caused by a good looking wheeler, no matter what he is doing, as long as I am attracted to him.

All the feelings you described are typical when any person sees someone they’re attracted to or by. However, I think dev feelings seem to come across stronger because it’s so rare for us to see a pwd that we’re attracted to.

I wasn't all the way sure at first that I read SouthernCalGal op right, but now I know I did...feeling a dev high about the PWD displaying his sexuality in checking out the woman, very interesting indeed

reading this is at the very least giving us wheelchair users hope - i would have never though any of this went on in real life - its rare indeed - i think i may have better luck hitting the lottery than running into a dev. its good to know for the lucky ones that find there Dev. this will make me think more now when i am out wondering if i can spot someone with some dev. in them - most likely not - i always feel if someone smiles on me which i have gotten - its always just a friendly thing - nothing more.

expresso I think it is very rare to actually come across a dev in the wild, just as it is rare for a dev to come across a PWD of their liking in the wild...but nonetheless, if someone smiles, just take it as a friendly and open minded person

So wait, just to clarify, a pwd checking out another women is what created the dev feeling? Is this common amongst devs?
