Good explanation by kat, that said, it doesn't make linda's sentiments any less relevant. I think it's safe to say that we've all had those feelings at one time or another. and yes... give me women in glasses. I want them all. <3

Daily I suppose, although, I rarely feel like commenting on any threads nowadays. So, for the most part, I guess you could say that I check PD for msgs, which is super silly since I rarely msg anyone nor do I receive msgs from anyone. 23yr old Assy would be so disappointed in me.

Heard this on the radio on my drive home today. It was refreshing. heh, added that to my 2018 metal spotify list just yesterday. I'm not sure if I will like it, but I guess I have to listen to it now right?

I'm always listening to prog rock. Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree, Kansas, Marillion, etc... There is nothing more fascinating than to settle down in a quiet place, close my eyes and listen to the classic "Dark Side Of The Moon". Roger Waters came to Brazil and I couldn’t go... Very sad. Prog Rock FTW! I saw Porcupine tree live one. King Crimson and Zappa Plays Zappa as well. I'd love to see Waters, the only thing that's unfortunate about that would be the fact that he'd surely almost always plays big venues. This is less than ideal for wheelers. For example, I saw iron maiden in a big venue only for my view to be obstructed by all of the standing people! T'was very sad as well haha

You'd be hard pressed to get me to see any problems with this given that you've done this several times before without any pushback yes? Now, if you haven't had any luck with this course of action then I guess it could be up for debate. However, the way I see it is that everything fluctuates. I.e. you just never know. 95% of my dev relationships have come from me PMing them, and half of them barely post, to begin with, thus, the whole "board participation" argument is a little overrated imo. espl when you're talking about ppl who have been here 5+ years and have 1000+ posts. don't get me wrong, ppl should definitely have some sort of board presence if they really want any success. But honestly, after 10yrs and 2500+ posts I can't do this on the reg, and if that means some girl is wary of me because she hasn't seen me super active within the last 6months, it's their loss bro. As Far as long distance goes, I always say I'm going to give it up because it can be so hard but frankly, this will never happen because I'm smart enough to know I'm probably never going to find the love of my life locally..

Last year my mom said she wanted some boots but she vito'd everyone I picked out. We literally sat for an hr looking over boots and we couldn't agree on anything! CTC ftw.. yeah... haha. Pro Xmas Tip: You don’t have to like a gift to give it. When my mom and dad were married way back when she always gave him very specific lists of things she liked. He didn’t like them and so instead he would buy her what he liked. Since he usually bought a more expensive version of whatever it was, he couldn’t understand why she wasn’t happy. When they divorced my mom told my dad to buy his future wife what she actually asked for at Christmas. He listened. Every year now my step mom is happy at Xmas and my mom is still salty. 😂 hahahaha! that's funny, She's like.. "can you believe your father? he never did that for me hmpf..... " my mom would never do that. at the same time, I would never dream of doing sucha thing. I need ideas or I'm out also, I don't think that my could've returned the boots had I got it wrong. Actually, if I remember correctly I think I was very close to getting her a pair and thought, ooop... better check.. Return policies have always been a big thing for me too. One time my mom got a bidet with me in mind to which I replied, What do you mean? there's a return policy right?"
Mom "No look, everyone tried it alright"... Me "soo my ass is smooshy and I'll be sitting on the commode to begin with..." Mom ... it did not work... LOL. as a result wooden arms were built so I could sit on the toilet... (Don't ask... ) did not work either. 400 bucks down the drain... My mom hasn't always been great with return policies, to begin with, but that one will always stick out.

I will admit I have had fun shopping for gfs and there have been a few gifts I've been excited to give the fam but for the most part, Christmas is kind of annoying. See I'm a weirdo who doesn't like opening presents. it's awkward and not even remotely fun..and then, of course, there's the trying to figure out what everybody wants part... Spoiler alert. nobody wants anything... I usually get my mom and dad a gift card to Canadian Tire cause that's the only thing they can think of. Last year my mom said she wanted some boots but she vito'd everyone I picked out. We literally sat for an hr looking over boots and we couldn't agree on anything! CTC ftw.. yeah... haha. and don't get me started on my bro. We both like alot of the same things but we don't want anything. We have enough band shirts. we don't want physical media! there's nothing... the whole concept as an adult.. it's just totally unnecessary and stressful and oxymoronic. and don't get me started on Christmas Carols... Happy Holidays

For the most part, I'm the type of person that cuts a person out of my life once it goes to shit. That said, I have given ppl second chances in the past and it's never turned out well. I haven't read all the comments so I apologize if I'm missed anything but this girl sounds flakier than chicken pot pie and thus, I have to assume that she always will be. also, If this relationship is primarily online-based then I'd say this relationship isn't as important as you think it is, and by that I mean, you're bound to find another relationship in time. Trust me I know. I almost never get the real word visits but if we're talking online encounters, those happen pretty regularly. I know it might sound cliche, but if I can do it you can. Now, if you've seen her in person more then a few times then I guess it's all about what you're willing to take, if you're cool with your sitch then do what you will I guess... but if u are holding out hope for her in any way I would get rid of her, cause nothing will likely change my man. Yeah, it's an IRL relationship. We see each other once/twice a week when we are together, since we're only >20 minutes apart by train. Since her apartment is not accessible, she usually comes to me, or my place after a date, and stays the night. That's certainly a bit more understandable then. I'm no more optimistic than I was but if the joy outweighs the distress then enjoy. 20mins apart tho, wuh?? that's a fable if I ever heard one. lol. the closest IRL thing I had was 90mins maybe? heh.
