Wow AB...that PING was you coming within a millimeter or so of being a quad.
Man...
These 'almost SCIs must happen all the time.

BenQuad can tell you a similar story, before his accident, where he felt that PING, but ended up being fine. He never thought about it until after his accident when they asked, "Did you know you'd broken your neck once before?" Wow AB...that PING was you coming within a millimeter or so of being a quad. Man... These 'almost SCIs must happen all the time.

I wonder if having that "near miss" makes you more vulnerable to future injury. Tho' my CT scan was ok that day. Now you all have me worried. I haven't dived into anything since. That's one truly frightening sensation, that old PING.

I have chatted with several guys who had broken some part of the spine at least once without injury before the SCI.

They found out after xrays of my spine when I had my accident that I had previously broken my 'tail bone'. I can actually remember when I think it happened to. It was some 7 years before my accident I slipped on some ice, landed on my arse, and couldn't move or speak for 15 seconds. Playing sport after that day if I jarred myself in the wrong way it would happen again.

See Brendan, you and ice do NOT get along. You landed on your arse and got the effect of full kundalini (as they say in Yoga). Reminder, no diving, no sledging, no curling and no ICE, not even in my lemonade. AND BRENDAN, why is it everytime I look at your Avatar, this little song goes through my head? And btw, just to let you all know as a result of the lack of answers to my picture puzzle about 10 posts ago. You have made me feel like an OLD FART. A VERY OLD FART. Yes one of those men IS Robert Plant and one of them is not. God, I am just too old. I feel like I might as well have put Bing Crosby or Danny Kaye up there.

"I knew something smelt musty in here..." (jk, jk) I get the same feeling sometime, and I've got a couple decades until I should...but then again, listening to/performing music that was hip when you were my age (Hmm...Tusk would've been coming out, if I do not mistake (which occurs frequently))...and being mistaken for my mother's brother (ewww, or boyfriend once) or father's brother (and hell, where I live, probably boyfriend too lol) So it ain't all that bad. I didn't get the whole picture riddle thing anyway...I still don't.

How old are you Windrider?
It's likely that if you are under 35 you just won't get it.
