Your tattoo was nicely done. You got a good artist.

thank you,
I made the design myself on my computer. I printed it out and took it to a local shop. I guess it shows my more sentimental side.

Man, I hate that winter weight. I'm not a bear, I don't need to hibernate and store up food! ... Even if hibernation sounds good hehe.

Staying In Shape
I was an athlete before the drunk driver hit me back in 1997. I raced BMX and worked out alot. I used to have a fast metabolism and that fast metabolism along with all of the exercise allowed me to eat ALOT and still stay trim. After I was injuried I just had to realize that my body doesn't require the same amunt of food as it did. I don't require as much as a normal person because I don't get the "normal" exercise that any other uninjured person gets (i.e. walking around) HOWEVER, I DO NOT STARVE MYSELF! I don't have to tell anyone here how a quad is already susceptible to health problems and starving one's self would just make it worse.
Here are a few things I try and do
#1 Drink water! This is the most imortant! Not only does it keep you slim, but drinking water also keeps your urinary tract healthy. Honestly, I drink water with all of my meals and I never drink sodas, soft drinks...etc.
2# get some fiber in your diet..... Broccoli is really good for you
3# try and stay away from alot of white breads, cake, candy...etc...common sense stuff.
4# keep your tummy shaved...it makes it look better ;D

I have gone strictly vegan due to a recommendation from my doctor and a bunch of medical stuff I have been going through. I am eating tons of veggies, brown rice, almond butter but no wheat, no dairy and right now NO MEAT, chicken or even fish (just for 2 weeks) and of course, no fun foods like sugar, white flour and stuff with additives. It sucks, but my weight is dropping like the bomb from Enola Gay and I DO feel better.
