Yeah, it's a tragedy what's going on there. It's been unseasonably warm here so it doesn't even feel like November. How did Reddit point you here? It's absolutely a weird November here as well. I don't know if it's always like this, but I do love this weather.  I was searching for webliterature about romantic stuff etc, just like every girl during stupidly cold nights 😁😁😁 And suddenly stumbled upon the pd blogspot in one of the answers. And hell yes, I felt accepted probably for once in my life. I knew about devoteesm, but never knew there's a whole society. |

I'll have to check it out. 
I think most devs new to this place feel the same about feeling accepted. You're more than accepted by the guys on here. lol

Where in Canada? (If you're comfortable saying it on here) There are parts that are more mild on the West coast. I think it would be much more difficult if I didn't enjoy it. Snow means I have to drive my van more instead of taking my chair on sidewalks (I live downtown in a pedestrian friendly city). The cold doesn't bother me. In fact, the heat is harder on my body than cold. I would get cold easily if not for warm clothes, coats, heated insoles, etc. I have it all. I kind of like "outwitting" Mother Nature in that regard.  If you need advice for that kind of stuff, I'm more than happy to help. |
