Who gets sushi at Wal*Mart? He's a kerazee foreigner and gets his Wal*Marts and Bruno's and Kroger's mixed up. Bruno's has awesome sushi. Wal*Mart sushi would be like Wal*Mart fruit and other produce. Bad.

It's generally the same here too, fubb...I've seen quite a many people that are suspicious to my eye, because they have plates/permits and they don't seem like they need 'em.

Pet peeve of mine when I see someone using those spots, I usually don't like using them if I feel I don't absolutely have to. My favorite: the slighty over-weight but by no means obese person who some how scammed a doctor to sign their permit application.

I tend to have to agree...while two people might even have a disability...some people deserve those spots more than others, I believe. Reminds me of the House episode that House was fighting for his parking space with someone else.
I think certain priorities should be set as to who gets what parking spaces.

Isn't there a site where you can post pics of able-bods using disabled parking spots? Somewhere I have a photo I took one night of a police car parked in one at local shops. I was thinking I'd send it to the newspaper one day anonymously when i was in a foul mood. I never did.

There are wheeler lawyers and wheeler doctors - all I need is a wheeler cop and my life will be complete ;D. On a serious note; we´ve had the same problem in Denmark - the worst I´ve seen is a young ablebodied woman in my neighbourhood, who borrowed a car from an old woman, (who practically never got out the door because of her extreme obesity), and drove around in that - parking in the disabled spots - for free even .

Nowadays Andy keeps a Sharpie in the glovebox just so he can draw a dick on the side of the offending car and write something about them being a lazy asshole He's also been working on getting some stickers made, but I don't have any of the designs he's come up with on my laptop. I do the same thing. I carry a permanent marker pen with a 13mm wide tip to write on their side windows or the windscreen where they look out. It can be cleaned off glass though it's harder after baking in the sun. I use to print stickers and stick them on the windows too. I don't believe in vandalising people's property like scratching the car or slashing tyres as people have said to me over the years. Two wrongs don't make a right though I've been tempted to let their tyres down and glue on the valve caps but that would just have them in the parking spot longer. I have been threatened with physical violence for confronting people parking where they shouldn't but no one has done it yet. There is a couple of local councils in Australia who hit them hard with big fines like $1000 and $1200.

So this is just a bit of fun, but isnt it annoying when some looser takes up the disabled parking spot. Imagine how annoying that would be if it was George W Bush and his presidential limousine! maybe George is a wannabe too! No he had/has a genuine mental impairment.

I see it all the time. Some one borrows the car from "Aunty Joan" and uses the permit to park in disabled spots. I've reported various people several times to shopping centre security so they can watch for them coming back to their cars. I don't like to report the misuse to Qld Transport (state motor licencing people) as it might cause Aunty to lose her permit. She might not even be aware they are abusing the privilege.

Where I live we have a couple of levels of the permits. There is a red version that has limits on where it can be used and is also given out for temporary impairments. The other is a blue one and can only be given to people who need chairs (not walkers or crutches) and whose disabilities are long term or permanent. This also allows parking in more places and/or for longer periods. I agree that there are some hidden disabilities that make one of them necessary though I do think generally that they are being handed out too easily. I have no problem that some people need to be closer to entrances/exits but many of us need wider spots to get the chair in and out of the car. I wouldn't care if the wider spaces were further away from the entrances but most of them here tend to be close.
