are you talking about all of those mixed together? I don't know what we call it here but it is a little weird I thought in Minnesota you just called that "salad." But with Cool Whip, not whipped cream. We're not made of money.
Wait, Cool Whip isn't whipped cream? Learn something new every day!

Liver & lamb and any really fatty gelatinous meat. Oysters ๐ raw fish/sushi. No octopus after โMy Octopus Teacherโ. Not really a fan before ๐ Love strong cheeses but not tooโฆ stinky Ew to the liver! Lamb, I tried it once and what kept me from liking it was the ''gamey'' taste of it. Raw fish is for sure a big NO lol.

I love meat, but there's something about lamb that I'm not rushing out to get some. The fattiness may be holding me back. Liver is awful. Horrible taste and texture there. And yet raw fish, I wouldn't really mind.

Tripe is another one. Had it often as a kid (Grandparents were keen on keeping us on their wartime diets, its a wonder we didn't get rations) but now? Eating a stomach lining, nah.

The list is huge ๐. I have a childish food taste and I have a thing about texture, if the texture is weird, or very soft, I'm not gonna eat. I hate tomato and cucumber salad, for example, the taste is bad and they're too wet, soggy, I can't explain. I also don't like anything sour or bitter. About meat, I don't eat anything considered exotic or wild. And I don't eat some parts of the animal. From where I come there is a dish made of guts (from ox) and I hate it. When I was a child, I used to cover my nose with a T-shirt while my mother was cooking it for my father because the smell was terrible. Sweet food is my favorite, I like pretty much everything. I'm not a fan of fruit because it's not sweet enough.

If you eat a salad without using a dressing, you may aswell drink a bottle of water, same thing. Gotta admit, that Ox thing does sound interesting! Ox-tail in particular is good. I had to laugh at fruit not being sweet enough a sentiment I share.

Fruit AS a dessert? Surely a crime. At least HAVE it with something. Like yoghurt or cake.

Well, for the last couple of weeks, I have been re-introducing my diet to cabbage, sprouts and cauliflower vegetables I havenโt eaten since I was a kid. as I cannot eat potatoes or sweetcorn, itโs back to the old ones that I didnโt like to eat. The way I am going, I am going to be the healthiest tetraplegic in the country. Unfortunately, my belly is not going down at the moment, ๐

Lol I can relate in an opposite way. As a kid though I never liked tripe. It grossed me out cause of the texture. I still don't like it well the honeycomb tripe version. The other one without the honeycomb pattern, I'll eat. Being Mexican we eat it a lot, "Menudo'', from being served after parties or a sunday breakfast with hominy and tasty spices. If its not cooked correctly and is chewy, I aint touching it!

You see now Menudo I could eat, because it sounds like it has flavour whereas all the flavour from ex periences of honeycomb tripe came from milk, pepper and onions.
