Hmmm... Is cereal soup? Is a hot dog a sandwich? Are tomatoes fruit or vegetables?

What do you think the true answer to the Fermi Paradox is? Oh boy, this is going to awaken my inner conspiracy theorists! The two most basic answers is either - Humanity is either the first or the part of the first few advanced civilizations to rise. Essentially meaning that all sentient life (in the Milky-Way at least) are at a similar technological level. Essentially meaning that there's no space fairing, or intergalactic space fairing, civilizations to exist yet
- There are billions of advanced, space fairing civilization. But we do not know about them yet because either are telescopes aren't advanced enough to be able to thoroughly tell which planets actually harbor life (though that may change with the James Web Telescope). Or. Governments around the world have known about aliens for at least 100 years but refuse to tell the public.
I personally believe that Aliens are very aware of humans. But choose not to interact with humans until we sort out a hurtle that I believe every civilization most go through before becoming interstellar. I believe we're going through that very hurtle right now. They probably do observe us from a far though tbh.
Of course there is always the theory that humanity was created by aliens. But that's a whole nother can of worms.

Good choices. I'd also like to assume maybe the broadcasts are out there but over vast distances of space, the signals degrade into static by the time they reach us, going through space dust and everything.
