Interesting experience on Match. I have been on Match for years, had both good and bad experiences, yesterday I made a change. I uploaded a photo of me in my chair, and had a good response. I have received five “like” responses in 24 hrs. Never placed a photo of my in my chair before, and it seems to have engendered a positive response. It will be interesting to see how the initial conversations go, but I am encouraged. Cheers!

Yeah! Good luck! I always like if the guys show their chair. It makes it easier for us devs to find you guys ;-)

I never did no good on match, and I have tried most of them. The disability dating sites are full of fakes now, it’s a big business romance scams. To be honest, I find it hard to trust people, perhaps that’s why I am still single, I never really trusted anybody. I wish you well though.

If you're too skeptical, cynical, and withdrawn, you really won't find anyone. If you're too open and vulnerable, you make yourself a target for crooks. Cautious optimism. Aim for that. Don't give out too much about yourself at first, watch for red flags and build trust slowly. I know we all want to rush head first into relationships, the dopamine hit is powerful, but if you vet who you're talking with, you save a lot of headaches and heartaches down the road.
