This is not something most of the lady devs tend to do, because we are WAY more polite and have no such need for making crass demands like SHOW UR CRIPPLED LEG of people on the internet we don’t even KNOW. However, your disability is a bit more unique, so I think I speak for at least a few others when I ask: may we see a picture of your leg and brace, please? Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Violet (not) Sorry for the delayed response. I don't seem to get notifications of posts. Anyway, yes, I'll DM you with a pic or two tomorrow. Not sure why, and maybe it's just me but I think couple of the responses are a bit aggressive in their response to what I shared. It's like "we are attracted to disabled ppl, sexy even, but we dont do that weird stuff" lol. Nice layer of irony lol :-) How are the responses aggressive? Your sentence shows that you may not know too much about devotees. It's not about just finding disabled people "sexy"...and yes, female devs may be into what they're into but wouldn't do anything "weird" like what you described. You could always post your pic on the Photo Section here on PD... The "weird" overly sexual stuff tends to be a lot more common among male devotees and pretenders...

Nice layer of irony lol :-) Are you saying it’s ironic because the very attraction to disability is weird? Speaking as a dev, I would never grab a paralyzed leg and rub it on my face because 1. It seems creepy and 2. it would do nothing sexually for me. Whereas Merely putting my hand on my partners knee for the first time was a HUGE turn on. That probably doesn’t make sense to you, but another dev would totally get it.

For me personally it’s the paralysis. That has to be involved somehow as I think it’s the main turn on. Now, how much is enough to get me going? And how much is overkill? That really varies and other aspects of my attraction to the person can impact it (chemistry, how he relates to his disability, personality, general good looks). Generally anything L1-C5 is a safe bet for me, though there are always exceptions. I’ve been known to fancy guys with one paralyzed limb (I’m thinking of someone in particular with a paralyzed arm). And I’ve been known to go for guys with an injury higher than C5. Even amputees (without paralysis) on rare occasions! It’s not so black and white because none of us chose this, it’s just a label to describe what is. If we actually picked the traits we like, it might make a little more sense 😂 I am mostly a paraplegia/quadriplegia devotee but generally am interested in disabilities affecting walking or lack thereof, and I am definitely a leg brace devotee. That being said, all other boxes, such as personality and a general attraction to the person, have to be there for me. I do prefer acquired disabilities affecting the legs. I feel no dev triggers with arm or hand disabilities, so for me, it's definitely a leg thing. It's not that often I see anything regarding leg braces, but I have seen some paralyzed guys who use them, and if I find those guys attractive, yes, I am very much into it. ayla and Dani I totally agree with both of your points in that there must be paralysis present, no paralysis is a turn off for me. Paralysed legs in particular really turn me on, I am utterly fascinated in the dividing line on a hot guy's body between the fully functional body above the line of damage and then how a few inches below the line of damage there is just nothing, the body exists but nothing happens it's just completely lifeless and has no sensation. I love to see a good looking guy in his chair, everything works up top and then just his small legs and feet down below with zero function or sensation. I can't really explain, it just does lots of very nice things to me!

Awesome responses everyone. Thank you. I was t sure how it would come across. Kinda "funny". I have a leg brace, KAFO, one leg is completely paralyzed and it's shorter than the other and I have horrible balance. Too bad I can't put that on my Match.com profile lol I didn't know it at the time but I was hooking up with this person one time and she kept picking up my limp leg and would just sort of run it on her body and face. Hard to explain. I thought, this is different but cool. I never asked her what her attraction was because I thought if I asked her she would think what is she doing and then not hangout anymore - I know stupid ha. Sucks having the spotlight but you have to make the most of it :-) I’m not sure if this is how you reply to comments on a thread here, but it’s great to see PWD having relationships. Gives me so optimism!

Sorry again. I'm a bit slow with responses apparently.
Dani - I tried msging you just now but it won't allow me to. Just took a couple pics.
I don't feel comfortable posting it online on a msg board but I don't mind msging the pics for any ladies (I'm assuming) that are interested.

How were the responses aggressive? Hey Dani! Sorry, I just noticed you asked multiple times & I hadn't responded. I remember one of the responses as something to the effect of what the fuck that sounds like a porno... Maybe I should have said aggressively questioning instead? I was expecting more of a "she was a freak!" Lol or a simple that's not what I'm into but devs are a spectrum (subcultures of subcultures of etc..). Irony.

I'm just too damn scared of ending up with a flat tire, so I'm limping till the wheels come off! 😉

Since I've noticed representation is a little lopsided in this thread right now; I have absolutely seen posts that totally imply some of you guys are "not disabled enough" for us devs, but I just wanna add the perspective that none of us can speak for all devs on here, much less all devs in general. There's several devs on here who have prefs other than paras or quads.
I personally am not especially all about paras at all, but into quite a wide range of different features, plus a good bit fluid. So while I can likely appreciate a good looking para (but not necessarily more than I can any other good looking dude), I'm kinda replying to represent the facet of devs that'd absolutely be attracted lots more to someone with a limp than to an AB or para. That's also not the only pref I have, but it was a main one for quite a bit. Other times, even a tic disorder has been enough to really really speak to the dev in me, and a lot of things around and in between can do that.
Now that I think about it: fellow devs, do any of you have your attraction being this kind of fluid?

Very varied and depend on lots of other variables

The man that I am with’s (complete para) legs and feet splay out to the side when not in the chair because his muscles are so flaccid. This has always turned me on in the bedroom as well, when I am able to be the one to move and position them for him. Limps can be a turn on as well! But I would prefer them with braces and crutches if that is the case over a chair. The more assistance with mobility needed the better, I guess. Does anyone else feel this way?

For me, I have always been attracted to the limps too, I wouldn't mind the braces also.
But I have also seen men who limp, and some could be an amputee, which is also a major turn on for me, esp when wearing a prosthetic and is covered by full pants.
Remember, Cormoran Strike from JK Rowling's Strike novels and the TV series.
I think he is quite hot! Wouldn't you agree?

[/quote] Yes although even to this day it makes me feel sheepish to say so... this is all completely true for me. The floppy paralyzed look has some effect on me that's probably similar to the bounce of a bubble butt or the jiggle of breasts to most straight men. Limping doesn't quite do it for me unless there's some amount of floppiness involved.

As a devotee for a long time I thought I would add a few thoughts. I think that there are as many reactions for whether wheels or limping is a preference as there are for blonde or brunette. As for what a couple does together in private, whether it's an inter-able coupled, disabled couple, or an able-bodied couple I think how you your body's connect and what part of a body goes where is a part of our sexual erotic experience. I don't see moving a paralyzed limb or a non-paralyzed limb anywhere on my body as unnatural. When I'm with a partner the more our bodies touch the better and if the body part needs some help to get up or down or in or out, so be it let's have fun! I am a gay man and as an admirer, I hope to meet a partner here also admires me and is happy and into all of my parts as well! Personally I love watching a man with a limp walk because that just makes me think of more fun ways to move together! Y'all keep on having fun!
