Lee, you've got that poll up about half of the profits of printed material would go to the maintenance of this site. I for one would have a hard time in buying something printed mostly because I would have nowhere to put it. Unless you want to come out to the entirely world (which I don't think is entirely appropriate - my mother-in-law doesn't need to know about my sexual preferences), you can't just put something like that on a bookshelf, which narrows options a little bit.
I know I'd be more than happy to make a contribution by PayPal without buying a book. I'm not sure if anyone else is with me on this, but if you put up one of those links, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised.

That's not a bad idea, V. I may try that. I hate the idea of soliciting money, though.
I haven't actually read any of these books, but my understanding is that most of them aren't so explicitly devo that you'd be embarrassed to have them in your house any more than you'd be embarassed to, say, own "The Waterdance". I tend to be really paranoid about this sort of thing too, so I know where you're coming from, but the truth is, just because you own a book or two involving disabled characters, nobody is going to "figure you out".
Just to give you an example, my friends all knew I watched that dumb "Dark Angel" show, even though it's not my type of show at all, plus everyone knew how bad it was. And still nobody had any idea what it was I liked about the show.

They probably just assumed you liked watching Jessica Alba go into heat every 3 episodes

I totally get what you're saying Lee, nonetheless, it would be nice to have the option of making a donation. I understand not wanting to solicit money, but at the same time, you should have a way for people to donate if they want to. Even if it involves emailing to ask you for the info on how to do it.

I'm still not sure if this is something I want to do. Now that I have a decent job, the effort of setting up a paypal system might not be worth the payoff. But I liked the idea of setting up my own "press".
