Indeed, welcome to the board. Perhaps you'll find the wheeler of your dreams... Or, at the very least, maybe learn something and have some fun!

We have a 'mission statement' here that says, 'We, of sound mind, and decent intentions(maybe not so decent), are here to embrace ourselves and others who embrace us.' lol WTF...

Welcome to you Irish-Claire. If you need a New York primer, talk to me. I've lived there all my live-long life.

Welcome Claire! been to Glasgow and Edinburgh a few years back and must say I enjoyed it heaps, despite the coldness and darkness of the whole place. My favorite bit was the size of your bloody beer cans!!! Anyhoo, hope you enjoy mucking around this place

Hey.....what's going on in Ireland these days? Has the fighting really stopped? If so, what caused everyone to finally settle down? Just curious. I always thought I was half Irish, but now it turns out I'm probably half Scottish. After all those those years of theoretically backing the IRA, I discover I'm not Irish.

The Provo/'Real' IRA essentially 'surrendered' and decided to 'pursue diplomatic/poltical' means to 'achieve their goals' - no more armalites or SAMs.

took the words right out of my mouth! there's no fighting as such, but there's still areas of belfast that i would advise people not to go to! one area (probably the worst area in belfast) has 2 roads running parallel to each other, one is a catholic area, the other a protestant. it's a not a nice place to be. being scottish is better, love the scottish people!
