Primarily to pursue education and career opportunities...and to get away from the snow and such as well.

...another oddity we've discovered in the FL - random blue lights over the traffic signals, and everyone seems to only have their license plates for their cars on the rear...what's that all about?

Well Claire, I got a few bad blisters and broke about all my nails. And, I was really sore for a few days. So, I told wind, that if he ever magically gets cured that the first day of his walking I am gonna make him walk the eight miles or so. LOL! That'll teach him. Nothing like being thrown out there to the wolves with no preparation or training. At least you had a mentor, that's something! Does he now?? I think he's a bad influence on you!!

noi1588 and I recently moved down to Florida in mid-January Our stupidry is now documented in pictures, with colour! Us assembling the most PITA futon that ever existed: Just for embarassment's sake (she'll get me back I'm sure...)... In North Carolina (or where ever the Hell we were...16 hours of driving doesn't help the memory...), they're serious about marking accessable driving spots: WTF, Palm Trees! noi1588 is convinced they are a form of alien life that has invaded the planet... noi1588 trying the Chair Life: noi1588 fails a wheelie: I'm going to need hernia surgery after towing noi for about five miles that day: Random bridge over street traffic: noi1588 at a local park, posing pretty for the camera: 'The Resting Goddess' ...a bit disappointed the state couldn't think of a more creative name for a county other than 'Orange'... Stairs: 1, noi1588: 0 ^^^ That is what happens when you're deprived of too much sleep... Yes, we both are most definitely a 'Special Olympics Project'... Random picture of noi1588's awesome dog, Ginger - The Sleep Goddess (We miss you Ging!!!): For the Florida folk around here...is this thing poisonous and/or dangerous in any fashion? Shit... what is that contraption in the fist pic???

We're surviving...it's pretty riddiculous when you go to sleep roughly around mid-day, and then at night, you wake up, go to work and it's actually hotter near midnight than earlier... ...and I heard that in Orlando, they even moved the thermometer at MCO so it would get a cooler official reading...cooler at 100F+!

Yeah, I hear ya....it was 85 at 11pm last night and dew point at 79, which just means it feels like a hot wet blanket on you. It hasn't rained over here in quite a while, but I noticed up there, where Chandy is near, it's been fucking HOTTER. Tallahassee was 103 yesterday....Geckos deserve a/c, too!!

For the past couple of days, I've felt like I've been stranded in the desert with nothing to drink, I'm constantly thirsty because of the heat. At least I'm getting a decent tan...or skin cancer...

It's tan first, skin cancer later. The one leads to the other.....
