I brought this up in a different thread, and at least one person was interested. Yeah, if we had paradevo t-shirts I would totally wear one. Probably not to work, though. But still, it would be the perfect fashion accessory for your cameo appearance on a Murderball documentary, or a trip to the local Abilities Expo, ha ha. The site www.cafepress.com will let you put any design on a shirt and sell it online. I've used them before and they're great. They offer all kinds of products too, like coffee mugs, sweatshirts, bags, and even thongs, for you girls who want to keep your devo identity private until the very last moment. Lee could even use profits from sales to help defray the cost of the site. The other great thing about cafepress is you don't have to pre-order and the site is free, so even if only two of us want shirts, it's not a problem. The only problem is designing a logo. I agree, that "blowjob accessible" thing is funny but a little too much for a shirt. And it should be non-gender-exclusive. I'd rather see a small logo and PARADEVO.NET in bigger letters, but that's just me. If only I had graphic designing skills, alas. So how about it? Does anyone have a copyright free image we can use?

thanks for the non-gender exclusive acknowledgement devogirl i have no problem with a guy in a wheelchair getting it on with a girl AND a guy. that'd probably scare off some of the straight wheelers tho anyway, i'm sure some of us could make an original graphic..

Devboy, does it ever occur to you that ALWAYS taking any subject under discussion to it's erotic extreme is really kind of boring?
Seems to me that Lee should decide about the design of the shirt. I'd suggest the image LadyLuvs has on her blog, only in silhouette.

I recommend we don't use that image because 1. it shows a woman with a guy, and this IS a gay friendly site. There has to be an easy way to make it gender-neutral. But also 2. that image doesn't belong to LLP/Devorella, I've seen it used elsewhere, for instance on www.dateable.org It's probably copyright infringment to use it, also it seems rather sappy to me. I'd rather see something more striking.

I don't find women erotic, in case you haven't figured that out yet, genius. By the way, complaining about "erotic extremes" doesn't sound like a straight guy to me. It sounds like a stuck up 42 year old frustrated housewife, if you get my drift.

I think this is all so cool. I am open to any suggestion. I would wear the shirt if it featured just the name of the site. The murderballers came up with their own thing. They call it "The Quadfather". They did some really cool shirts too. www.quadfather.net/

Perhaps words like: "Yes they can." , or "They do it for me." , or "Oh, I know so.", Or "Got wheels? --- Call me." ---- ?

I'm in! I agree with the small logo and PARADEVO.NET idea. "Got Wheels?" isn't a bad idea....

the more ideas, the better.

Maybe I could make a couple of logos with varying "explicitness" so that each individual could choose....
Also, I'm fine with money right now. The site's already paid up for the year. I'd rather donate the profits to something disability related. Any ideas?

Those ideas might not be winners. But hopefully they can serve as a springboard for someone to find something more creative.

I like the "got wheels?" too. Donations could be made to the United Spinal Association which funds research and programs for SCI and other disabilites.
Question, would you guys wear it too? I mean, if it were a gender neutral type thing, just to promote the site?

Yeay! I'm glad you're all so excited about this idea! One option that I have used in the past is to set the prices for everything at cost, then it's cheaper for us and there are no questions about what's happening to profits. It's also easier for Lee or whoever sets up the site. At cost prices run about $12-$20 depending on the item. They also have stickers, coffee mugs, all kinds of things. It would be nice to have something the wheeler guys might want too. I think Carp's suggestion based on the Invacare logo "Yes you can!" is pretty funny, if a bit obscure. What about just "I <heart> <wheelchair symbol>" Hm, must think more...

Hey, if someone comes up with a logo can a person purchase it and have it put on something besides a t-shirt? Like have it put on a coffee mug or something?
