Tell your dad you're attending a tattoo convention in San Francisco. We just had one a few weeks ago. Thanks for all the details--I'm so glad you had a good time ;D So did you see Mark Zupan again??

Arrgg, no. I got there after practice was over. BUT I am friends with Zupan on Myspace, where we exchange comments and messages on each other's profiles. It's so weird knowing that I'm talking to friggin' Mark Zupan. In devo-dome, he's a celebrity! I still can't believe it's Zupants on the other end of the emails. It just feels crazy.

You know, I think it's kind of admirable that Chan went out and got her man like she did. There's something to be said for knowing what you want, seeking it out, and taking steps to make it a reality...and then having it become real.

Chan, did you notice people giving you two strange looks or anything when you were out in public? I mean, I'm assuming you were pretty obviously 'with' each other.

Not to be stupid, but what is devo-dom? Everything that being a Devotee entails.

you can get devo subs too As for chan being a go between ie in the hotel etc. that is common. often people assume that a wheelchair user has a learning disability or isnt used to looking after themselves! Even when I am shopping with someone, i make it a point to do things for myself for that reason

ive never ran into the "what will he be having for dinner..." thang...possibly cuz i tend to blow into places ala the tasmanian devil ;D...i dont believe in other ppls rules and it kinda freaks ppl out ...i guess i never read the "crips should be seen & not heard" rule ....the AB world here has learned to adjust,,,especially when i inform them that my term for "feet" is "a speedbump"...
