I was just talking to Neffie and she's figured out why we're devs! Last summer, I took a dive off a horse... and when they did a CT of my noggin (to make sure I was unconcussed) they discovered a HOLE in my BRAIN. An actual part of my brain is missing! Neffie postulated today that it's the part that liked AB men... I consider this an incredibly valid theory and think all of you should run out RIGHT NOW and see if you, too, are missing part of your brain! WELCOME TO SCIENCE PEOPLE!!!! ;D This is cutting edge, people, cutting edge.

Having had a MRI/CT/and a whole bunch of other funky pictures and scans of my brain (back when my docs thought I had a tumor - thankfully it was a false alarm) I do know that there is no hole. HOWEVER, my mother did come clean several years ago about my aunt dropping me when I was a baby... on my head... on tile. I'm sure it killed off some of my young, still developing, baby brain cells and I'm sure they were the ones that would have become the "AB Liking" cells.

LMAO!!... A HOLE IN THE HEAD!! LOL!!
Considering that I do like AB guys too... I must inform that I have not a hole in my head... but (yes, there´s a but) after couple of scans about 25 years ago... I learnt that I do have a problem: "cerebral nervous overactivity" Would the electric escess be the cause of the devness? LOL!!!

It could be! We have additional head knock and/or other brain strangeness to add to our theory now...
Where's z28gal? Somebody needs to start writing the grant. ;D

OMG, I fell down a flight of stairs and sustained a massive concussion when I was 11.... and right after that, well, I started having strange attractions! Inigo, you are pure genius!

No! I cannot take credit! It was Neffie all the way.
We shouldn't be surprised at such brilliance.

Hahaha! That's excellent. I've never had a head injury, or really any kind of injury. Perhaps I was born with that part missing? Must find an excuse to get a scan. I don't think insurance will pay for it!

I've never had any serious head trauma that I know of, but every so often, I have had a bunch of buddies and the occasional college professor wonder if my parents dropped me on my noggin as a small child. Funny enough, though, I have a younger sister who did get a head injury when she was small, and so far she seems to have plenty of attraction toward AB men. For now, at least. So it may not work both ways.

Circuit, watch it! Dissent will not be tolerated. lol...
Ruth, go hang out with Zgal... she can provide the horse to get tossed from... that's how I did got mine. 0o0o0, maybe you could just go to the doc and complain of mysterious headaches? Then you won't have to worry about aching from something else. ;D

Hahaha! Hilarious! Sorry to say, I never fell on my head either. About 10 years ago I had an MRI when I was getting a lot of bad headaches, I guess they were checking for tumors. Docs said there was nothing unusual, but I was so bummed they never let me look at the image myself. I really wanted to see it! How often do you get to see inside your own head? I asked to take a look and they said no

But I'll join in and say I fell off a swing when i was pretty young. Fell and hurt the back of my head pretty badly.

Wouldn't that be interesting, if we could locate the exact part of the brain that regulates our attractions? I'm sure scientists have a general idea at this point. I wonder if devs were tested, whether it would be the same or different parts of our brain activating when we feel attraction from the control group?

How interesting! I had a pretty good concussion when I was about 7yrs old while in gym class...seems like we may have a good theory running now lol.

...Maybe I should ask my mom if anyone ever dropped me on the head!

Unfortunately I can not recall any significant head injury or trauma.......I am however sure that my brain wiring is not normal
