I knew it was a moose because I watched Rocky and Bullwinkle! Also, I am friends with a bunch of ehhhh Canadians. Great pics, Jeff. I could practically smell the fish. Those waters look cold! Oh well, soon you will land near the warm seas of Baja. I had a wonderful vacation experience myself. I got to see an entire school of dolphins frolic in the waters of the NJ Shore. This is quite an unusual site for this part of the country. I think they were celebrating the fact that Snookie is staying in Italy for another season. In addition to the dolphins I met two hot 20 something year old gay models who spent an entire weekend serving me mixed drinks, prancing around in swim trunks and laughing at the girls who were desperately hitting on them. (Forget the fact that they yelled "Hi Mom" to me, from the middle of the pool.) Now I am off to more fun in the north! Marineamp, of course not everyone has seen a moose, especially without the telltale antlers they are generally pictured with. I HAVE actually seen one of these but had no idea you could have them as pets. That would be a hell of a lot of droppings to pick up, I think.

Great photos Jeff and what a cute pet this lady has . Alibara, I went to a fantastic museum the other day and saw a taxidermic moose. They are very large and impressive animals, especially the male ones are gigantic . Moose live in Norway too and Sweden as well, as far as I know. There was once a moose who swam all the way across the sound to Denmark, it attracted a lot of attention here . Ali, I want you to know that it is COMPLETELY OKAY to ask questions. There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers, so feel free to ask again whenever you feel like it. Don´t let people tell you otherwise .

Don´t let people tell you otherwise . Still going on about this huh? Has no one ever made fun of another person before? It was only over not seeing a moose. I'm not so ignorant of a person that I expect everyone to know what a moose is. To me though, it was pretty funny. Sorry if that is so offensive, I laugh at all kinds of dumb stuff. I have Canadian friends I use to run track with and I still will tease them about living in an igloo or going to work on a dog sled. Ya I know humor doesn't translate well into a forum, but I wasn't attacking this person on anything I thought would be taken so personally. I've learned though, Americans can't make jokes about someone else's ignorance and being ironic at the same time by acting ignorant ourselves.

I am just returning now from my last post here (a while ago) and found amusing that I did not know the animal in taht picture of a moose looked like before...yes Marineamp, I have seen once or twice of a picture of a moose, and have seen 2000000 times a picture of zebras...so that's the difference for me anyway. BA, that CAPIVARA that you showed in your post was very relevant, because many people (including my ozzie husband) have seen once or twice in pictures but when he went over to Brazil he had to ask: What was that?!?!? Like me I guess...but not offence taken anyway...just my curiosity!! Looknohands, good to have you back as well and excellent that you post nice photos of you holidays, Thank you!!!
