Okay, I'm asking for your help... hopefully we can have fun with this.

I think most know that I'm trying to get pregnant. No, I haven't found my wonderful partner... but I'm 39 and running out of reproductive time so I'm forging ahead. I'm getting regularly shot up with donor sperm. Circumstances have recently changed and I had decided to buy several vials (5 or 6, I was thinking) and store them in my Dr.'s office's "attic." (She had regularly referred to storing sperm "upstairs" turns out the Fertility Clinic is upstairs, lol.) In a fit of approval from the Universe, my sperm bank is now having a buy 6 get two free sale. (A sperm sale! Could anything be more fab??? lol)

I had a short-lived brilliant plan to store MY sperm with bull sperm in a local farmer's barn (artificial insemination in cattle is very common and some farmers have sperm storage on site). My boss and I talked about it... he was concerned about sanitation... but I finally decided against it due to the lack of control over who wanders into the barn and the issue of two hours between the barn and my Dr.'s office. So, I decided to go with the professionals. A later conversation with the lesbian couple who's also TTC with me reinforced this as the right decision due to the possibility of birthing a minotaur.

I had considered posting this in the general section but had a couple of conversations with guys in the chat rooms and they've forfeited the opportunity for the straight guys. Mainly because of generous offers for free sperm and accusations of taking the fun out of trying to conceive. While their generosity and concern for my recreational activities are appreciated... ok, it's totally not... so this is strictly a girl and gay guy activity now! So there!

My blood type is A Positive so the Rh factor isn't a big deal. I decided (after a scare) that CMV status wasn't a big deal either.

Oh man (so ironical). I think 1316 1st, and then 1516. I can see why you went for ol'1676, though! But could 2 times be a fit of disapproval from the Universe? I cannot know. I looked at their handwriting as well, but I have to say none of it was particularly striking! I have a thing about people having both lips the same size, which all the above chaps do...1316 though-you gotta love a mechanical type. Plus, height!

Hurrah for the sale, though. And also, I can't believe you don't want a minotaur! : )

Peony, it's just that the birth announcements would be SO awkward, don't you think? lol And do you care to clarify? Which one is 1316? Is he one of the guys from the site that I didn't list? And I don't know about disapproval from the universe... I DO like that guy because of his listed reasons for donating.

Fireberry, I had that concern about one of them... thin hair... and so I lucked up and wound up on the phone with the only chick who works there and SHE can look at their pics. She said that (for that one) you couldn't see his skull through his hair. I've also felt better about that since my cousin, who has that silky straight hair, told me that her hair is considered thin.

Emma... I can't believe you went for the dreads, lol!

And Dentelle... I wish the third time had been the charm. Maybe the sixth will be (and third with donor #5341... I have a vial of him waiting in Nashville.)

By the way, y'all can vote for as many as 4. When I order I intend to order a variety pack ... at least 3 maybe 4 different donors.

They would be indeed...and think of the terrible horn-related jokes as an adolescent...maybe it is for the best.

Also sorry, I am a dolt-when I first looked at them, because they opened in a separate web page I looked at their web ID rather than their donor ID (I guess that's what it is?). And looking back I wrote one of the numbers down wrong-numbers are most definitely not my friends. Anyway, I meant 122M, then 4709. And sorry (again), 5341 does sound dreamy, I was being facetious about universal disapproval.

As long as it remains frozen that stuff can last for YEARS. The oldest I've been inseminated with was around a year old.

Male pattern baldness is inherited through the mother's side. I wouldn't worry about thin vs thick hair. My dad was mostly bald by his 20s, so was my mother's father, yet my brother has all his hair still, very thick, no sign of balding even in his late 30s.

Agree with DG... My father in law is in his 70s and he has lot of hair while my partner is in his 40s and he is going to be bald! LOL all his mother side uncles are bald!
