I agree, Inigo! Not only is their audience not here, but it is posted quite clearly in small easy to understands words in many different places on this board (including the main front page) that their audience is not here. So why do they continue to post?? Either they are not reading what this board is about or they are hoping to change our point and purpose. The latter of which will never happen. No, it won't. Don't make us unleash the tiny Klingon and his riding crop down upon you, dudes! Like that would be a punishment! ;D

They're not operating with a rational mind. That's why it keeps happening. Exactly. These guys are not thinking things through, just acting on impulse. It's the same reason gay guys hit on straight guys, or straight guys hit on lesbians. Also remember the internet is not a paragon of logical, rational behavior. Think about how many book reviews on Amazon rate the shipping, not the book, or how many comments posts are filled with random pleas for technical assistance? The internet is full of misdirected posts. It seems to me that the number of ineligible members who try to sign up is still quite small. You all do a great job of monitoring this; I'm sure this dude will not be back. The only way to stop them from making that first post is to moderate the membership, ie, make everyone who signs up as a new member get approved before posting. That's just too much work for me, sorry. The occasional stray post is a small price to pay for openness on this forum.

I DO remember us telling you that you were being too hard on them. Those guys didn't seem this bad... but maybe I'm remembering things wrong... or maybe it's just that my inner bitch is so close to the surface nowadays.
I am not a paragon of logical, rational behavior either but... lord! lol
@ Peony... I see your point. ;D
