Hi, Lady, welcome to the board. (Your intro made me LOL - I don't know what would happen if you would be any better at it. )

Hey Such an awesomely bizarre (one of the best kinds of awesome) intro post, as well as totally interesting. I really hope you enjoy posting as much as lurking And kudos for being so dedicated to going to med school! I used to read medical textbooks at school (ahem), but slowly realised that the force was most definitely not strong in this one, and also that I prefered rocks and paintings ;D Nice to meet you *waves back*

Great to meet you! I love those plush microbes I have the bookworm. Though I'm an artist, my dad is a scientist and I have a deep affection for science and those who study it. I can understand your desire to poke apart devness, to analyze it and try to understand it. Personally I've found that there have not been answers. The more I try to find a reason for it, the more elusive it becomes and I get frustrated. The key for me lately has been to just let it be what it is, to accept it as a quirky part of myself.

Welcome Ladykins, I am glad you decided to post after your last post where we encouraged you to keep posting! Do not worry about your quirkiness - we are all more or less weird here .

Brilliant, Ladykins! What a fantastic intro post. I know how it feels to be 'not down with my devness'. It takes a long time to 'get down' and even then, still not fully down. Too much that will never be understood no matter how it is dissected. I'm from the Tri-State too and in medicine. I also like plushy microbes fwiw.

Man, if you're 'bad' at introducing yourself, I'd hate to see if you were GOOD...lol Really, great intro...made me laugh, too. Welcome to the jungle...; ) Any particular disabilities you're more attracted to?

For those of us not accustomed to plush microbes, I think we need to see a picture of one .

Hi Ladykins, you pack a whole lot into your intro, well impressed!! Where did you move from to get to NYC? I moved from Scotland to England when I was 8 and my heart will always be in Scotland. Really looking forward to hearing more from you!
Here's a wave back

They are stuffed toy microbes, such as gonorrhea, E. coli, amoebas. They are the only way you want to get the clap.
