I agree with you. Jocks don't interest me, chairs or no. me three! (bearing in mind that there is an exception to every rule! ) the movie was ok from a dev perspective, but i was wishing the whole time that the guys were more my type of guy.

Murderball ROCKED!!!! Being a para we play football too, but this movie, the quotes, and the people in it was great...if you didn't like it there is something wrong w/you. I can't believe Murderball didn't win the Oscar! WTF?!?!

Right on, Teacher! I'm with you! I'll take trash-talking jocks any day over a stupid cuddly penguin love-fest. In any case, at least the film has raised the profile of wheelchair sports. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a few more similar documentaries in the near future, even if they don't get a wide release. But I'm still waiting to see disabled actors appear in regular films, that unfortunately seems far less likely.

LOL Chan, yeah I guess Zupan is so popular now that he has to travel with a couple of bad ass penguins to protect him. Better be careful or those penguins will pop a cap in your ass if you get too close.

i maybe a bit biased as i play a bit of quad rugby...no were near the level of these guys lol....but i thought the movie was quality, from the way it showed the game to how it showed a guys dealing with SCI, thru the rehab to sex etc.

Amen. The opening sequence was the only thing about 'Murderball' that I dug.

I found 'Murderball' interesting enough(and the DVD audio commentary is hilarious, if mean), but it's hard for me to understand the jock mindset: really, truly *caring* about who wins a game.
