Wait, I forgot to ask my key question: Chicago proper, Chicago Metro, Chicago Land or Hick Illinois? Because if you live in the suburbs, but lie and say Chicago, I will be sad.

Chicago Metro, one of the burbs, but if I could get up on my roof I'd probably be able to see the skyline.

No... but I went to school in Indiana with a bunch of people from "Chicago"... which really meant anywhere from Hammond, IN to like an hour from the Quad Cities. So, I like to ask.

Sadly to say, I'm from the "Hicksville" area. I'm down in Springfield. My 2 sisters used to live in Chicago. Fun area. A little too much fun sometimes

Very true:) when talking to people from the US I say "suburbs of Chicago" but tend to use "Chicago" when speaking internationally...
