OK, I did it, but I don't think it is counted as buying another one. I've got a warning that I've already purchased the book. Should I create another username and try again? Oh, that makes sense. I guess you can't download it twice. Thanks for trying! It's doing awesome right now. Check out the best seller lists... All ebooks on Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/digital-text/ref=pd_dp_ts_kstore_1Contemporary romance ebooks on Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/digital-text/158568011/ref=pd_zg_hrsr_kstore_2_6_lastThis is the reason I had to have it up for Kindle only for three months first. We need it to stay high on these lists until Thursday when it goes back to paid. I expect it to stick high up on the charts because it is awesome!

It is great that you guys made it possible to download a free copy! I love this story and if it is for free I guess quite some people will read who otherwise wouldn't have bought it. OK, I did it, but I don't think it is counted as buying another one. I've got a warning that I've already purchased the book. Should I create another user name and try again? I had the same problem. If you delete the original download from your kindle library you will be able to "buy" a new copy.

I created a new dev account, thinking (BRILLIANTLY!!!) that I could download TBND and then use that account to write the occasional dev book review. But it turns out that you have to actually PAY for an item. Free downloads don't count. Bleh.

Wow, those sales ranks are amazing! Congratulations!!
I saw it got one 2 star review from a woman who didn't like the "objectionable language." OMG, what is wrong with people? How is that a basis to judge a book? Whatever, there are still people who complain if a romance novel shows the hero and heroine having sex before they are married. I'm surprised Tasha's slutty past didn't bother her more.

That was just some little prude. I commented on the review. *eye roll*
We did awesome, guys! There were 31,126 downloads world wide over the last two days.
It got a ton of visibility and downloads from people who don't normally know anything about "wounded heroes" and now it will be on a lot of new pages as "also-boughts."
This was a huge success!

Haha, there is nothing worse than an irritating vagina. And if you have built up karma by leaving bad reviews, oh man, I am in big trouble.
And hey, your reviews have jumped up! Lots of non-devs reading, and realizing how sexy a wheeler can be. Congrats again!

We definitely got a sales bump and a bunch of new reviews. I'm irritated because one of the reviews refers to it as a self-published book! I was like, hello? What business do you have deciding whether something was self published or not! I'm right here. I'm the publisher. The author had nothing to do with the publishing! I'm so mad, but the only thing I can do is leave a comment that probably no one is going to read

Ruth is doing such an amazing job marketing the book! I think that review is karma for me. I actually recently left a review on a book that centered around the fact that I didn't like the foul language in the book. But that was less about me being a prude than the fact that every other sentence used the word "vagina." I mean, that is just way too much use of the word "vagina." It was just irritating. Hahahaha. I hope there's no such thing as review karma.

Sheesh, people have the stupidest criteria for evaluating a book. What is up with all those people who said "I don't read stories written in the first person"--what the hell?! Guess I better toss out my copy of Jane Eyre.

Well, despite some odd ducks, the book is continuing to do really well.
Today it is on the paid best seller lists for humor! So that's a huge deal. Annabelle can call herself a best selling author now!
Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #1,491 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store) #30 in Books > Literature & Fiction > Humor #34 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Humor

Also, I'm getting some advice from the Kindle Authors board about how to make my company look more like the real company that it is. They said it looks like an author's collective, which it isn't. One complaint was that there aren't author photos. Sigh. I don't think that's going to happen!
I do want to distribute books through Lightning Source instead of Createspace, but it's more complicated to use and I haven't been brave enough to try it. Also costs more!
