Crackle has a show called “Brothers”. It’s a sitcom about two brothers (shocking I know lol). One of the brothers is a para by the looks of it. Not sure if the actor is paralyzed irl. I just watched the first 10 min and they already made 3 jokes about his disability . Not sure if anyone posted about it.
Edit: he is disabled irl and is in a bunch of shows like Fear the Walking Dead and NCIS

I binged half of it last night. Nothing really devy from my point of view. But I was shocked I didn’t find it in my previous hours and hours of looking for PWDs in movies/tv since I was 16 LOL

So Apple has just announced its new streaming service called Apple+ with a bunch of new TV shows, including one called See starring Jason Momoa. Here is the blurb: See takes place in "a future when the human race has lost the sense of sight, and society has had to find new ways to interact, to build, to hunt, to survive. All of that is challenged when a set of twins with sight is born." No more info yet, not even a proper trailer.
Will this be a thought-provoking sensitive story about blindness? Or will they abandon their premise by the third episode and pretend everyone can kind of see? I'm betting on the latter and I'm not interested in paying for yet another streaming service. But I'm very curious to watch at least the first few episodes.

By chance I looked over some clips of the show "Vikings" yesterday. I was looking for something totally unrelated to dev or disability stuff. Then I saw that they actually have a character in it who is disabled and eventually I guess has leg braces. He seems like one of the meanest and violent characters on there, "Ivar the boneless". Has any of you watched this series and how do you like it, how do you feel about "Ivar" in the show? I have to say I was curious then and I need a new show to watch. GOT is starting soon again, looking forward to that.

GOT is starting soon again, looking forward to that. I watched a few episodes of the fourth season one or two years ago. As far as I remember, it had some decent storylines and character developments. I thought the dynamic between Ivar and his brothers and the development of their relationship was interesting and well done - they're all the sons of Ragnar, some great Viking, so there's this sense of wanting to follow in their father's footsteps for all of them. In the few episodes I watched, Ivar was always fighting to be respected "as a man". He was a little bit of a mommy's boy and at the same time had serious tendencies towards craziness and brutality. As far as I've seen from trailers and a few clips on Youtube he descendes into pretty much psychopathic brutality later on and becomes this feared warlord or something. On the whole, the show got a little too brutal for me and I found neither Ivar nor any of the other characters all that likable. But I find GOT too brutal as well, so you might enjoy it!

Omg, I love you! Did I just spend over an hour and a half watching a movie in a language I don't speak? Yes. Yes, I did. Made me wish I had stuck with my Japanese classes back in high school. If anyone knows Japanese, please dm me. I could understand the general context of what was happening most of the time, but there were parts I was completely oblivious.

It's based on a manga and the English translations are easily found online. Just read the manga and you will know the story.

New German movie, para is only an actor though I watched this on Sunday night at the movie theater. Its a nice movie to watch and funny. But I personally think it's not too devy, could be more.
