Asthma kind of turns me on, though nowhere near my attraction for C4 quads! It's funny you mention that, because I just saw it as option and thought, hmm, I wonder how that attraction plays out. I know it is impossible to explain why we like what we do, it is simply how we are wired, but can I ask- what about asthma excites you? Anything that is explainable? I am curious to understand. Some devs are fascinated by diabetes, I have been curious about that attraction too. I get a little pang from diabetes too....but only if they're hot (which has only happened once!)...the diabetic stereotype is much less sexy than asthma...sue me.

It's interesting I had a huge crush on a guy who was burnt all over his body, even face.
Guess I like scars? I'm not sure if this is something I like in general though, no idea. I liked it on this particular guy a lot. His voice was smokey too, and even his name (smokey name?) Yeah.
BUT it's not a disability

Now I'll loosen up a bit and go over some of the disabilities I might have considered devvy, at one point or another, while maintaining that I do have a solid preference for a certain type, which I voted on in the other poll. Now that the pressure's off, let me go over my "secondary" selections:
High-level SCI - I find it interesting that while I pine for another disability that's congenital and unrelated to SCI, I still am highly fascinated with high level SCI injuries - as high as C1-C2, actually. I watch lots of videos of quads, not doing tasks, but more documentary or news-interview types of videos. I also like that I can find so much information about SCIs, versus the disability I'm mainly interested in. When I try to look up my special dev interest, the results are shit. There are just too many types and too many unknowns for me to ever know anything that I set out to know. I'm going to change this someday. I still stand by the fact that there should be some damn results or at least a smidgeon of an idea of how to have sex with a person with said disability, and there's like one blog out there and that's it. At least with SCI, there is a wealth of information, even though each person's case is unique.
CP - I still like CP'ers, as I call them, simply because I grew up with a guy who always had a crush on me, but I was hesitant to make a move because of societal standards I thought I needed to maintain at the time. So they still have a place in my heart.
SMA - I chose this as a secondary because it's so similar to what I really want/desire in a man, as far as looks, ability, etc. Again, not a ton of practical real-life relationship information about this dis, but I still like it.
Deafness/dwarfism - I might consider these more "tertiary" but I've always had an interest in sign language, so I don't know, the thought that I might be one of the few who could communicate with someone, is kind of a devvy thought, as outlandish of an idea as it is, now that so many of the deaf community use texting and other forms of technology in their daily lives. As for dwarves, well I don't know. It's one of those "it's just kinda hot" things to me. Can't explain it. Maybe 'cause I'm really tall and long-legged and something strikes me as wild and attractive about being with a shorter man. Really have no idea on that one.
Ventilator use - Kind of goes along with the high level SCI, and also in some cases it's necessary in the particular disability that I love. And because of that, maybe I picked this, because I'm familiar with it and it's not scary to me and even though it kind of sucks for the person to go through, there may not be any other way. It may be a fact of life itself. I know I'm capable of still loving someone on a ventilator. So I chose this one as a secondary to say, I don't like it, and you don't have to like it either, but I accept it and love it if it's part of you.
It feels good to write out some dev thoughts; it's been awhile.

Why does this poll only have 33 votes when the other (primary interest) poll has 52? If you haven't voted in this poll as well please do so. Some people might only have primary interests and not secondary.

My second is any other wheelchair users after paras. I went on a few dates with some one used a chair because couldn’t he had an issue with this balance and couldn’t walk more than a step without falling. Can’t remember what his disability was called but it would up high up on my list.
