Fuckin' showoff. I could do that, I just don't want to. If I wanted to really show off I would have busted out the wake boarding pictures and invited you guys to the gun show.

From last weekend. There is a park across the street from my apartment and this weekend was a music festival with a French/Louisiana theme. We had wild boar (shot it myself) po' boy sandwiches with wild cattail slaw, alligator fritters and jambalaya. To drink, locally harvested mulberry wine. It was kind of awesome.

My friends and I are building quite a few traditions lately. We've also been doing a lot of urban gathering and going to try hunting this Fall. Lots of rabbits around town. One of my friends is a trained chef and has been preparing our finds. So far we've gotten fish, mulberries, black raspberries, tigerlily buds, cherries, cattail shoots, random greens and mushrooms all from within city limits. We're waiting on pears, plums, apples wild grapes. I'm looking into more that is available around here, it's actually a lot of fun and I know there's more that I'm forgetting.

I love any cajun food too but it's not possible to get all ingredients here so we have to improvise Our local waters are so bad that you cant eat the fish from here but there are a lot of wild boars. We have more game here in the suburb than by the summer house lol.

Crossposting this from my introduction thread in the personal forum. Unfortunately a GIS for "wheelchair crowdsurf" pulls up so many pictures but never my own. Word to the wise: this was during GarageFest 2010 in Lawrence, KS, during the Oblivians set. I was really into it, and crowdsurfing was always a "box I wanted to check" before I die. I was really surprised that even though I was inebriated, the loss of control I felt was scary as all hell. Not recommended, although I'm glad a legit professional photographer in the crowd gave me her card after the show so I have this to show for it.

Awesome picture Prophet! When you're old and grey this will be the photograph that you show your friends at the retirement home.
